We live in times where thinking of peace seems like a crime.

Had a productive call today with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, @MIshaqDar50, to discuss the evolving situation in the Middle East. He noted progress in ceasefire negotiations. Canada supports these efforts and encourages continued dialogue, along with the protection of civilian life and infrastructure. I thanked Pakistan for its role in advancing discussions at a critical time. Canada values its relationship with Pakistan, and we agreed to remain in close contact on shared priorities including economic cooperation and people-to-people ties.

Attacks on critical infrastructure are not only about what is destroyed, but also about the people left without what they need to live. Even wars have limits. They must be respected.

Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. Again, brave of Iran, but instead of bravery their comes a time when we must embrace negotiations over annihilation. This is not the last war, but it can be, if an agreement is not reached. At least the USA should step break from issuing threats of using nukes. Would anybody charge the USA for acts of violence against the Asian countries?

What difference does it make when people can't stop their governments from responsible use of nuclear weapons. War itself is a deadly business, and the USA using Nuclear weapon card is most dangerous to Asia and the world.

Deal with who? Israel or USA? With the kinds of threats the USA is issuing, the only response Iran can give is, " We are ready for martyrdom. " Shows even after half a century, USA and Israel doesn't understand Iran. #Palestine and #Iranians would fight back till they have last man standing and that too will fight.
