@fdigitalis If you read ever tasted black, unadulterated Starbuck's coffee, it's horrendous. It requires all of the chemicals and crap just to make it edible. I'm thinking of getting an all steel drip maker when my Cuisinart dies. It's 11 years old and still going strong, though.

Today I learned that many people are so removed from basic coffee making that they have no idea what a drip coffee is. Does everyone but me wait in line to buy a $10 sugar, fat, and carb loaded "coffee" every day but me? Wait until they hear about percolated coffee... 🤯

The time allotted for my son to eat when he was in elementary school was criminal. And since it was combined with recess, the kids bolted their food (or didn’t eat anything) to get outside as quickly as possible. No time to visit or enjoy their food. And we wondered why kids were squirrelly all afternoon and couldn’t concentrate, and had atrocious relationships with food. They treated them like animals. Makes me furious to this day.

Kids' little bodies are not ready to sit still for 7+ hours a day. When they need to move, they call it ADHD and prescribe meds that affect their development. WHAT ARE WE DOING. Some may say well back then we did fine. Well back then we had 3X recess time, shorter class time, and longer lunch time!

Imagine what our states and our country could be like if our elected leaders deeply loved the land and people they were elected to serve. Alaska is sacred. This is a solid 3-5 hour line outside BWI this morning. John Thune and many members of Congress had escorts so they did not have to stand in lines like this… After they passed a bill at 3am they knew would fail. Sickening.

@oldstatemark My emails from the campaign domain name were fine until a week or so ago. Then they all went into my spam folder. That NEVER happens. So frustrating—I’m glad I figured it out when I did. I used to think these things don’t happen and they were just paranoia. No more.
