Greek City Times published an open letter to Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey this week. It reads in part: "We did not vanish. Greek people did not disappear after the age of myth. Greek culture was not frozen in classical marble. We are still here. For more than 3,000 continuous years, Greek identity has persisted." The addendum: "Given Hollywood's insistence for minority representation, authenticity and diversity — where are the Greeks, or the Greek Americans in this Greek story?" The film shot in Greece, with Greek funding, across Greek locations. Not one cast member is Greek. Hollywood required diversity for every production except this one.

If you are an Asian American guy, the best thing you can do is filter out all tiger mothers/dragon ladies. Tiger mothering is a relic of the rice fields where you faced starvation and needed to prioritize food on the table over all else. The fact that Asian women carry this over to the wealthiest country in the world even in high paying white collar jobs is wild and Asians should look down on these women the same way blacks should look down on ghetto behavior. It means your kids will not feel self worth and will end up studycels. Tiger mothers will raise Asian boys as incels and will teach Asian girls to date up by marrying white people. Don't be trapped in a loveless marriage just to be used as some vessel by some dragon lady. Instead choose women based on desirability. Those who choose you based on desirability are relationship material while those women who exhibit Tiger mother traits should be mercilessly filtered out.
Evelyn Jun@evelynjunn

We are now witnessing the first major wave of 2nd-generation white-collar Asian American men raised by tiger moms come of husband-and-father age. I’ve noticed that many tiger mom households also tend to have absent/passive fathers, who themselves grew up under tiger moms. Tiger moms are not the main problem, as tiger moms are nothing new, at least outside of America. An entire lineage of men perceive that their most important familial duty is to be a “good son” to their mother over being a “good husband” to their wife. Many Asian families prioritize the children over the marriage, so much so that most married couples with clear issues choose to stay together “for the sake of the children.” And older married couples do not display much romantic affection in front of their children, which means most grew up with a shortage of healthy modeling of romantic intimacy. This “passive man + bossy woman” dynamic is the modern expression of a culture long built on a mix of filial piety, elements of patriarchy (sons being pampered/coddled/spoiled by their mothers), and the traditional Asian family structure, which has long involved extended, multi-generational families ultimately governed by the mother of the patriarch (the mother-in-law) — who reaps her reward for decades of tirelessly picking up the slack after men who were always “good sons” over “good husbands and fathers.”

This is Anthony Coleman. Anthony didn’t like his pizza so he threw it in the delivery driver’s face. Anthony then went to the store, left his two toddlers in the car, and went inside to assault the same driver. Blaxx and violence. Like a moth to a flame.

Students at @RutgersU are catching major heat after daring to criticize Professor Brittney Cooper, a tenured faculty member in Women’s, Gender, and Africana Studies, who once declared that “White people are committed to being villains” and bluntly stated, “We gotta take these motherfuckers out.” The university, which is currently requesting up to $530 million in federal taxpayer funding this year, responded by declaring its “unequivocal solidarity” with Dr. Cooper. They framed her remarks as protected “academic freedom” and stood by her alongside faculty unions, dismissing widespread outrage as a “racist smear campaign” and harassment.
NizNellie3@NizNellie3

🚨 Do you enjoy funding racist professors at Rutgers University? No? Well, our Department of Education does. This pillar of knowledge is Professor Brittney Cooper, an intellectual luminary in their Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department. Our Department of Education shoved $518 MILLION into the sweaty hands of this campus last year. The result is an unhinged rant against white Americans who need to be “taken out.” We’re being fleeced for this garbage. @EDSecMcMahon @StephenM H/T @travelingflying

🇧🇪 Belgium just convicted Dries Van Langenhove for “hate speech” because he linked mass migration to crime and social decline during a university lecture using statistics and scientific sources. The judge openly admitted the facts themselves were not false. That’s the terrifying part. The ruling basically says you can still be punished even when what you say is true, if the government decides your framing is politically unacceptable. He’s already spent over €420,000 fighting these cases and says more prosecutions are coming. Welcome to Europe Source: @DVanLangenhove

Did you know? The US Army exercises de facto control over South Korea’s entire military in 2026. Through the ROK-US Combined Forces Command, an American four-star general holds wartime operational control (OPCON) over hundreds of thousands of South Korean troops. In any conflict, Seoul’s sovereignty is immediately suspended as Washington alone decides when, where, and how Korean soldiers fight and die. The Korean War armistice froze the conflict but never brought peace, allowing the Empire to maintain South Korea as a permanent forward base and vassal state. Repeated promises of full OPCON transfer have been delayed indefinitely under US pressure. A prosperous nation of 50 million now functions as a high-tech aircraft carrier aimed at China and North Korea, with its military trigger firmly in American hands.

Why the life of the average American citizen got worse, after controlling for technology, over the past 50 years: 1. First you have to understand that America didn’t just win ww2. It won ww2 more or less unscathed, while the rest of the world’s industrial capacity was wiped out. When you’re the only developed country, everyone is an employee of Nvidia. So, first, understand that we were starting off from a very high point. 2. As the post ww2 wars got smaller, so did the number of Americans who bonded with their fellow Americans as soldiers. 3. Religion started to decline and was replaced by money. The major US religions are inclusive. Worship Jesus and you’re a fellow Christian. 4. In 1971, by allowing government to print as much money as it wanted, we gave government more power than we realized and finance started to take over. 5. Greed became good. The idea that if something made money, it was okay, pervaded the country. 6. Slowly over time, the bonds between Americans are getting weaker and weaker while money is getting more and more celebrated. You can see how this leads to the jobs being sent overseas. It makes money and so what if someone across town loses their job. That’s the free market which we know is best. 7. America wins the Cold War and this cements the idea that markets and our system is unquestionably superior; no need for introspection. Keep doing what we’re doing. 8. As the USD becomes more and more powerful and there is less and less concern for one’s fellow American, immigrants stream in. Elites prefer to hire immigrants because they work harder and even though they have a tougher life, they’re happier. Jose may be a nobody in San Francisco, but with his $10/hour salary he’s a king back in Michoacán 😊. 9. As more immigrants come in and the bottom 50% gets more and more dissatisfied, elites shy away from citizens even more, becoming disconnected from their troubles. Why can’t they just invest in the S & P 500? 10. Because it’s expensive and because there isn’t the same care for our fellow men, we stop delivering strong education to our children and paper over this problem by absorbing smart immigrants who put downward pressure on us citizen wages just like low wage illegals do. 11. In the education we do give, teachers need to get theirs ($$) and are more focussed on their personal welfare than educating because they can’t afford a house in the new economy. Instead of teaching young kids we’re all American we teach everyone that they’re different which again reduces the bond between us. 12. Covid happens and it becomes a giant money grab that destroys any trust that remains in government. You can’t trust anyone, from your fellow man to the government. And get that money any way you can. The way I see it, the story of America’s decline is all about people not identifying with their fellow American and celebrating number go up finance over true productivity. It’s easy to say “well it’s all the money printing” but that really doesn’t explain why we did that while sending jobs overseas and letting immigrants stream over the border which ruined social trust and depressed wages. America is a complex system and thus unpredictable but, while I think the situation is kinda bad, it can get worse and it probably won’t get better until it does. We probably need a 1990 to 2000 in post soviet Russia period, unfortunately. The Boomers for sure will not fix any of this and they have a lot of gas left in their tank. Gen X, many, are like mercenary Boomers. I don’t see them making this better. So it comes down to the millennials, whether we turn America into a communist country or bring it back to where it can be, I don’t know, but it will be interesting.

This lady, Sigal Chattah is the same acting US Attorney who allowed Israeli sexual predator, Tom Alexandrovich, to return to Israel without being charged, after being caught in a sting operation soliciting sex from a minor.

🇺🇸🇮🇱⚡️– All of the charges against the Israeli citizen, Ori Soloman have been dismissed. He was arrested for running an illegal biolab containing Dengue fever, HIV and turboculosis in Las Vegas. Apparently the acting federal attorney of Nevada where court proceeding were held, is Segal Chattah, also an Israeli born.

The American education system does not teach empire. This is not an accident. It teaches the Revolution. It teaches the Constitution. It teaches the Civil War in a way that frames it primarily as a story of "national healing" rather than unfinished reckoning. It teaches World War II as the definitive American story: the sleeping giant awakened, the "arsenal of democracy," the liberation of Europe, the moral clarity of that specific conflict deployed as a permanent filter through which all subsequent American violence can be viewed as basically continuous with defeating Hitler. It does not teach the Philippines, where the U.S. military killed somewhere between 200,000 and 1,000,000 people between 1899 and 1913 during the Philippine-American War, a war most Americans have never heard of. It does not teach the Banana Wars, where the U.S. military intervened repeatedly in Central America and the Caribbean to protect the commercial interests of American corporations. It does not teach the full history of Iran: the 1953 coup that removed a democratically elected prime minister and installed a Shah who ran a torture state, because the elected prime minister wanted to nationalize Iranian oil. It does not honestly teach Korea, 1945-53. Guatemala, 1954. Vietnam, 1954-75. Lebanon, 1958 and 1982-84. The Congo, 1960-65. Cuba, 1961. Brazil, 1964. Dominican Republic, 1965. Haiti, across the 20th century. Indonesia, 1965. Greece, 1947-49 and 1967-74. Laos, 1964-73. Cambodia, 1969-75. Chile, 1973. Angola, 1975-1991. Argentina, 1976-1983. Nicaragua, the 1980s. El Salvador, the 1980s. Grenada, 1983. Panama, 1989. Afghanistan, 1979-92 and 2001–21. Iraq, 1991-2003 and 2003-11. Somalia, 1992-95. Sudan, 1998. Yugoslavia, 1999. Yemen, 2002-25. Venezuela, 2002 and 2014-present. Honduras, 2009. Libya, 2011. Syria, 2012-26. Ukraine, 2014-present. It does not teach these things honestly because a population that understood them would have a very different relationship to the word "freedom" when its government uses it to justify intervention. The ignorance is load-bearing. Remove it, and the entire moral architecture of American exceptionalism becomes uninhabitable. They know this. The curriculum is not an oversight. The curriculum is a choice, made deliberately, renewed continuously, defended furiously whenever teachers try to expand it. The most powerful weapon American empire has ever deployed is not the aircraft carrier. It is the history class.

The rich already won the class war. The working class are just only now waking up to the fact that they're fucked in whatever they do. How did they win? Most people don't want data centers popping up in their back yards. Protests happen. People vote. Data centers still happen. Your voice, your vote, don't matter. Laws don't matter.

Taiwan gets glazed too much man.... If the West prohibited the sales of EUV machines to Taiwan, like they did with China, then Taiwan would be economically and technologically about on par with second tier cities in Mainland China. USA is forcing TSMC to move their shit to the US anyway. While China is catching up rapidly, and will plausibly leapfrog TSMC tech within 20 years. Sooner or later, it's a question of when, not if, Taiwan will be a 2nd tier Chinese province. Because America will dump them like a dirty ho, and focus on their own goddamn problems, so joining China will be a deal they can't refuse.
Bonchie@bonchieredstate

Imagine how much more powerful China would be financially, technologically, and militarily if they were allowed to take Taiwan. Now, do you see why it’s idiotic to even hint at letting that happen? Much less over some trade promises they’ll violate anyway.
