@JonBbC_TechGeek 'Software bug' is generous. They want us on HW4. Started bundling Dutch HW3 for a mass claim. 30+ sign-ups in the first day without any promotion. This needs to happen in every country. x.com/mischamartijn/…

Tesla owes me €6.800. And if you're a HW3 + FSD owner, they owe you too. 2019. One of the first Model 3 owners in the Netherlands. Paid for Full Self-Driving. The promise: same hardware, software updates will unlock full autonomy. Just wait. I waited 7 years. SEVEN years! Last week the RDW finally approved FSD here. And for HW3 owners? Nothing. Radio silence. ~4 million cars worldwide. So I stopped waiting and built hw3claim.nl to bundle Dutch HW3 owners for a collective claim. 36 sign-ups in 24 hours. No ads. Sign up if you're a Dutch HW3 + FDS owner too. €6.800 buys a lot of patience. Mine ran out.

At this point it seems like Tesla just doesn’t care about HW3 at all. V14 lite doesn’t even exist does it? 😭🤣

@wholemars @fel_iix I don’t remember anyone not complaining after buying a product for €7000+ (I bought twice, so €14000+) and getting nothing in return after seven years. I even get a hard time from Tesla-sales if I try to bargain FSD-transfer for trading in my 2019m3LR for a new mY…

This is the same situation for Australia: FSD will not operate on HW3. It is fully capable to operate, even in its current state, however, there are some behaviors that are notably bad on *certain* HW3 vehicles. It is well documented within the Tesla community that some HW3 vehicles, even when they have clear camera views, will drive too slowly or gravitate toward inner road lines. This is speculated to be a software issue (bug) that has not been fixed and it has resulted in many Tesla HW3 owners in North America abandoning the use of FSD.
Teslascope@teslascope

We now have more confirmation that Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in Netherlands is for AI4 vehicles only at this time. This means that HW3 vehicles in the European Union will either have to wait for the release of V14 Lite or a future hardware upgrade to access FSD.

@oloos878787 @wholemars This is not a solution. WTF. So I’m supposed to buy a new car because Tesla can’t get its SOLD product on the market? My car is paid off. Typical yank no idea of life without debt. And there is no transfer option for FSD.

@fel_iix @wholemars Stop pretending there is no solution. Upgrade to model 2026 and transfer your fsd. Problem solved

For Tesla owners in the Netherlands who got FSD, how did it feel to go from 6 year old basic Autopilot to the latest version of FSD with one software update?

@NehasThomas @wholemars What don‘t you understand. Back when I bought it, it says „by end of the year“. And @elonmusk and @Tesla clearly communicated the upcoming software update and later also mentioned hardware upgrades.

@fel_iix @wholemars I just don't understand. You buy a product today based on what it can do today. Thats what you would expect when you buy a Mercedes or BMW or Volvo, etc. You don't expect them to update your hardware and software year after year. Why is Tesla held to a higher standard than them?

@NehasThomas @fel_iix @wholemars No need to have a 6 years old car. I have a Model Y 2024 which has HW3. So yes having a car which is 2 years old and which is already obsolete is unacceptable

@NehasThomas @wholemars When I bought it, the website said „City Street Autopilot by the end of the year*“ *If approved by the regulators Now it is released and I now want what I paid 6 years ago, so yes „free upgrade“ or at least money back/compensation. I couldn’t use the 6300€ for a second.

@wholemars I would, but you seem to have no idea about European approvals. If HW3 should get the V14 Lite, it is a separate software and needs a separate approval.

I hope we sue the crap out of you. The EU has strong consumer protection. So far, you were able to hide behind “regulators“, this is over. You withdrew my money from my account quickly 7 years ago. 🖕🏻@elonmusk @Tesla @teslaeurope @aelluswamy

Confirmed: FSD (Supervised) in the Netherlands is only for HW4 at this moment. This has been the general consensus, but good to have it officially confirmed. @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi
