Idk what's going on here, but @United seems to be having an issue with its first 787 Dreamliner, registered N61101, with the new Polaris seats. The plane's eastbound long-haul inaugural did an air return back to Singapore bc of smoke in the cabin. United then ferried the jet — empty — back to San Francisco for repairs. Three days later, it started flying again. It then operated three commercial flights. And tonight, the jet just went mechanical again. This time, at least the plane never took off. Not a great way to inaugurate the new product.
