@loudepetris @EricLDaugh bombing Iran isn't "defending America". At best it's assisting Israel in bombing Iran. When you start shit on a different continent, you aren't defending against a full-scale invasion like Ukraine is doing. Plus its neighbors have legitimate concern if Ukraine falls, they're next

🚨 BREAKING: Sec. Marco Rubio just MIC DROPPED our ungrateful allies “There was a couple of leaders in Europe who said that this was ‘not Europe's war?’ Well, UKRAINE is not America's war — and yet we've contributed more to that fight than ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!” 🫳🏻🎤

@VigilantLance @alifarhat79 the irony of a "strong men" advocate supporting Trump is hilarious. That draft doding golf enthusiast was never ACTUALLY strong. All he did was make high risk gambles and issue empty threats. He didn't think Iran would close the Strait & when his ultimatum ended, he chickened out

🚨 HOLY SMOKES: ICE agents in Maine just photographed a civilian’s face and name and said they’re putting it in a database. When the woman asked why, the agent’s response was basically: “Now you’re considered a domestic terrorist.” This is intimidation. Not law enforcement.

@michelleo2112 @piersmorgan I think you got it wrong bud, we didn't enter into a war in Ukraine. We just sent them equipment and billions of dollars. We also didn't enter a war in Venezuela... we just conducted a simple mission there. Get smarter.

Nothing has changed since the price was over $.50... In fact, there has never been less HEX available in the market and everyone is acting bearish AF 😭 BRO HEX BEAT THE F*CKING SEC IN COURT AND WAS DEEMEDNOT A SECURITY!!🤯💯 10 years from now NOBODY will believe me when I tell them how bearish y'all were and how much everyone hated HEX 😅

So, Hegseth illegally ordered everyone killed in the first alleged drug boat strike on Sept. 2, prompting a second hit to finish off survivors in the water. — This is the real reason why Trump & Hegseth absolutely freaked out about the video against illegal orders.

@centurion54x @RichardHeartWin Uh, it certainly does. If you're getting threatened with a knife, I'm pretty sure gaining distance is the first and best solution you're gonna think of. The problem is still there somewhere but you aren't its target anymore.

There's tiny windows of time where people are emotionally moved enough to take massive action to improve their life. Perhaps now. I want the USA to be great and The American dream is alive and well outside America. If the church shooting 2 weeks ago, or the recent murders, or the school shooting in Colorado today aren't enough to motivate you to go someplace safer, maybe the tax incentives could help? If you choose to live in a place with the highest % of people in jail in the history of earth, and many would argue that % needs to be higher, perhaps you might work towards moving someplace safer? Do you remember the Las Vegas concert shooting? All the road rage shootings? The best defense, as always, is distance. I learned it in martial arts, and it's been useful to know in all kinds of situations since. I'll keep trying to make the USA a better place, out of the kindness of my heart, from nice, safe places. There is a wide array of countries out there where the people you enjoy watching speak aren't being shot with bullets while speaking. And they even have lower taxes. Caring, carrying, voting, speaking out, does nearly nothing compared to improving your physical location. If not for yourself, think of your family. Yes I know it's expensive, yes I know the rest of the world isn't perfect. Yes I know you can try.

IMO #PulseChain season wont start until Ethereum is into price discovery. ETH needs to bust through ATH, retest, then start ripping up to the $8k+ mark, then we will see the PulseChain season begin. ETH euphoria phase = time for PulseChain season.

I can speak in front of an audience of a thousand people or in a TV studio on a broad range of topics without any preparation and without a twinge of fear, but yesterday I had my first real experience with stage fright. I found myself on a tennis court in a live streamed professional tournament with a few hundred in the crowd. Throughout the match, my wrist, arm and body literally froze with the expected negative outcomes. I had difficulty breathing, and it was not a fitness issue. It got a bit better as the match progressed, but I was not able to overcome it. I regularly play with mid-20-year-old D1 college players and recently retired pros on a familiar court with no audience with none of the same symptoms. It was a very humbling experience that gives one even more respect for the pros who play for a living in front of the cameras and the crowds. We forget that they also need to manage the challenges of their carefully examined personal lives, their break ups, their emotions, financial stresses, and their mental health, family, and other challenges. Tennis is one of the few sports where the athlete is out there alone in front of the klieg lights for hours operating with incredible intensity with barely a bathroom break. And they might have been awakened in the middle of the previous night for a drug test while staying far from home. For all but the top players, they also struggle financially as they manage their small businesses working to recruit and retain talent, manage expenses, balance their budgets, and pay their taxes on time. Whatever respect we already have for these incredible athletes, it is not enough. They deserve more of our applause and appreciation.

@BrunellaCapitan @GermanyDiplo Except it's not banned. All Media is free to report on whatever they want in this country. But state-funded media not being sanctioned has always been a privilege, not a right. You're purposefully conflating the two for a narrative, and you know it

let me get this straight: A media outlet challenges the official narrative and instead of debating it, you label it “foreign manipulation” and ban it? When “free journalism” says what you want to hear, it’s protected. When it doesn’t, it’s suddenly a “threat to democracy.” This isn’t about Russia. It’s about control over perception. Call it what it is: systematic censorship dressed up as “resilience.”

Foreign Information Manipulation has consequences. Red Media has been trying to polarize society in 🇩🇪, pretending to be a platform for free journalism. Reality looks different: Russia is behind Red, as officially attributed today. EU has imposed sanctions against the operators.

@grok @GrokMacguffin @otisa502 @Vivek4real_ "broaden adoption" lol, when the richest men in the world already bought, BTC ETFs hit the market, funds & institutions bought in, and even companies added it to their assets, the adoption curve reached its peak. You will see less volatility and growth from here on out

A Bitcoin OTC desk facilitates large, private trades between buyers and sellers, avoiding public exchanges to minimize price impact. It connects parties, negotiates prices, and ensures smooth transactions, often for institutions or wealthy individuals. OTC desks can use their own funds or act as intermediaries, charging fees. Short-term, OTC trades might suppress prices if buyers accumulate privately then sell publicly, causing dips. Medium-term, they could enable institutional buying, tightening supply and potentially raising prices. Long-term, as the market matures, OTC influence may wane, leading to stabler prices and broader adoption. Manipulation is possible but unproven; desks mainly stabilize markets by managing large trades discreetly.

@BornFreeTexan @adjmacro @levelsio Ofc it suggests I'm ok with different cultures. Yours is yet another dog-whistle term for fck non-whites, foreigners, etc. The fact that u categorize people by origin/skin color is the tell here. Half of my friends have some different origin and I'm not getting rid of them lol

You linked Wikipedia, man. I've done a lot more legitimate scholarly reading on this than Wikipedia. It isn't to say that it *will* happen. The fact that birth rates globally are plummeting is an indicator that there's likely not much we can do about TFR. It likely has more to do with liberalism than we care to admit. A major problem is the insistence that the population MUST grow because GDP growth must be maintained. Previous claims never dealt with the modern world. Many factors in our world make historical comparisons not very apt. Etc, etc. It's just not simply enough to brush the problem off as a conspiracy. It tells me you're either OK with cultural displacement or need to do some serious consideration on potential outcomes on the matter.

So a few things: I think the uncomfortable truth is that many of the immigrants that come to Portugal (and rest of Southern Europe) particularly South Asia work really hard, many work harder than Portuguese because they have more at stake Majority of the Uber drivers are South Asian, their cars are generally cleaner and they're much friendlier than the very frustrated, stressed and angry native Portuguese Uber drivers (who are probably angry cause they getting squeezed out of the market by immigrants to be fair) 99% of the South Asians in Portugal I talked to are very honest about their game plan: - Stay in Portugal 5 years then get the passport - They work hard, in farming, factories as Uber driver - Often their wife also works, but they don't register as a couple. Why? Well.... - A large share of them often work illegally (as in unregistered), while registering as unemployed and apply for free welfare benefits which are very easy to get in Portugal, this is 100% welfare fraud - A lot of the money (both work + welfare) is sent back to families in their home countries, some of the money is invested in real estate at home or in places like Dubai - Once they get their Portuguese passport after 5 years, they get instant access to the European Union, can live anywhere and they say they will move to UK or Germany, for better work opportunities (and possibly welfare too) You have to understand one thing, to us this feels like dishonest fraud and it absolutely is but to them they're just hacking the system without considering much about the long term damage One thing I learnt is the South Asians I met were all very friendly to me and they're just trying to get themselves out of poverty, you gotta imagine what you would do in their situ What we have to do in Europe is completely shutdown welfare for new immigrants first 10-20 years or so or at least until you've paid net into the system enough
Alex 🇵🇹@alxcollignon

@levelsio Has this massive 3rd world immigrant inflow affected your life here in Portugal in any way? I’m not sure how long you’ve lived here for, but the increase has been exponential these last 7 years
