@ScottMGreer The global south monetizing western discourse needs to be shutdown, for the good of our neighbors too stupid to discern who these people are and what they are doing.

@MOA_Official1 @ScottMGreer If *people knew* AI was used for anything actually useful. The problem is not the usefulness of AI it is the average person's lack of awareness around the state of AI beyond chatbots.

@ScottMGreer Correct sir. If AI was used for anything actually useful, people might be more in favor of it. But people don't see AI as a useful tool. Because it's used primarily as a gimmick for lazy college students to do their homework for them and for making slop.

@TheLaurenChen People prone to collectivism always fight in collectives. It's literally just pack/tribal mentality. Very few groups of people have a bend towards individualism. People in the comments who don't understand this are retarded.

I don't care if this is considered controversial, here's the truth: Black people don't fight like white people. There are way too many videos of people having their heads stomped on, or being stabbed, or getting shot after an initial punch is thrown. Anyone saying Chud the Builder shouldn't have escalated to using a gun to defend himself is being naive. It's not like this was some barfight over a football game, where you could assume a gentleman's agreement over no use of deadly force. Chud is known for calling black people the N-word, and the guy who punched him knew who he was. I absolutely don't condone hurling slurs at random people, but I also know it doesn't justify violence. If reports are true that the black guy did start the physical altercation, Chud is absolutely justified in using potentially deadly force to defend himself.
Luis J. Gomez@luisjgomez

It is not ok to assault someone over words. It is not ok to shoot someone for punching you. Both can be true.

@ScottRebornNow @DiscussingFilm Because Lego was struggling and a pivoted away from children towards adults helped the business recover. It's now a collectible brand chasing the adults who grew up building them, to over simplify it.

@DiscussingFilm There is absolutely no way thar should cost $649.99. Why the hell are lego sets so expensive no days? Just because they are from a famous movie that did well? Make lego set prices affordable for kids who used to be the main target audience for legos. This is ridiculous.

@aidannonx It's so unfortunate. The only ones competent enough to fix things on the right would prefer to use their talents in the private sector. Our tendency towards individualism makes collective ideological action difficult.

Sometimes I realize that people supporting Trump are simply not that bright All of the academic talent is on the left, and the ones on the right are either subscribed to outdated beliefs or incompetent We have to build this now. We can’t have people who don’t understand basic legislation or economic policy controlling things Massive alpha for young guys

@SkoOrp I mean this is a fairly accurate representation for a lot of folks. The biggest problem is complacency around public policy and allowing the commies to ruin this dream for our children by appealing to the antisocial freaks.

MI SUEÑO SI ME PREGUNTAS.

Too many MAGA people moan about what they are not seeing done while ignoring the incredible wealth of good news in their midst. I’ll give you just one example. Did you know that the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division has created a “Second Amendment Section,” designed to protect the Second Amendment rights of all Americans? Did you know that the Second Amendment Section recently sued the City of Denver for its unconstitutional ban on modern sporting rifles? Did you know that the Second Amendment Section has a link where you can report attacks on your own Second Amendment rights? (I’ll include the link one post below.) Did you know? It’s all coming up roses, and it’s still not good enough for some. Not me though, I’m full of positive waves.

@xwanyex You can pose questions to many lower socioeconomic people that reveal this. Pick a random company which offers a service and ask: is this govt or private? Many just do not understand the difference, it is very revealing. Incredible state of our country people like this can vote.

Let’s clear up a few things about this map. Mondale won MN because of a massive native son electoral effect, which 40 years ago was much stronger, as was a lot of things. Even then he barely won. Legend has it Reagan pulled resources out of Minny so as to not embarrass. Very Midwestern nice of him (yes, Reagan was a midwesterner, most of our best presidents were raised in heartland Midwest and/or small town environments). MN voted 16 points to left of the nation in 1984. 4 decades later MN voted about 5 points to the left of the nation. It has been sitting at anywhere between 1 point to the right (2016) and 4/5 points to the left for about two and a half decades now. The idea that Republicans cannot eventually win here with the right candidate and circumstances is loser talk.

@wil_da_beast630 The "women have been lied to their entire lives about what measurements look like" is a funny comment when rulers exist. I get it. Not even disputing it. It's just comedic. Yardsticks, rulers, and tape measures exist. Measuring things is an easy task.

When you recognize this, everything becomes so much more clear. Beauty and aspiration are "oppressive". The communist hates nature because they hate God. They want to drag everyone as low as possible and call it equality.
Kevin DeAnna@VDAREJamesK

Over and over again it really does come back to Jon Stewart saying dangerous, dirty subways are part of what it means to be “free.” Nice things, beauty, safety and cleanliness are fascist coded. Therefore, after 1945, we are not allowed to have nice things. That’s fascism.

@RichardArion1 A good portion of it is literally personality disposition. The right believes strongly in individualism and self determination. The result, when coalition building, is that it's difficult to present a unified message that rivals the collectivism on the left.

This is why the left wins The left doesn’t say to Democrats “If you don’t vote for what I want I won’t vote for you” The left storms into primaries and place hard liners who will cater to their most radical demands in office. A serious right-wing political movement would’t have allowed those senators win primaries in the first place Right-wingers don’t know how to play the political power game

@xwanyex He takes great pride in his heritage? Americans are also allowed to take great pride in their heritage of having created this country. The conversation and entitlement felt by so many newly arrived immigrants is perhaps the most reinforcing data point for those who oppose them.

@RyanRadia @xwanyex @Samingo_real Going to Walmart in rural America with a regular schedule means seeing the same people consistently. Trips to the store is one of my fathers primary sources of jobs because he sees so many people he's known his entire life and it reminds them to take care of their trees.

@xwanyex @Samingo_real I think the latter argument works better with respect to staying home and watching Netflix (versus going out with friends) than ordering on Amazon or DoorDash (versus running to Target or Chipotle, where you probably won’t run into somebody you know)

truly blackpilling i went and checked what it means to read below 6th grade level and this means that ~130 million people cannot work out the correct dose on a children's medicine label, can't read their own pay slip, can't follow the instructions on a consent form before surgery, can't locate basic information in a short newspaper article the average 6th grader in 1850 was expected to have read the bible and understand shakespeare progress seems inevitable until you realize it isn't and it takes people of extraordinary abilities to make it happen
Athenaeum Book Club@athenaeumbc

About 54% of U.S. adults (ages 16-74) — roughly 130 million people — read below a 6th-grade level. Why does nobody talk about this?

@BonifaceOption @AuronMacintyre Yeah. A lot of women have a disconnect between the enforcement of rules and the letter of them. The constitution was written to provide just cause against these exact people. Men of honor must be willing to make the case and enforce it, otherwise it is useless.

I am sure Shannon here is a very nice lady. Someone you would love to have as a member of your church or have over for dinner with your family. She is probably like most conservative people, pleasant, polite, well-intentioned, hard working, kind, etc. They really believe that the Constitution will restrain the power of those who hate America, its written constitution, and its people. It is well past time to cease believing this. They do not care about our “norms,” our traditions, or our laws. They care only about attaining power and wielding it over us. To them the Constitution only places limits upon any who would oppose them. It is a game of Monopoly where they make sure you dutifully follow the rules, collecting $200 only when you pass “go,” while they raid the bank every time you turn your head.
