Beauty of music and nature 🌺🌺
From a terrified and deeply traumatized street puppy who growled, snapped, and bit at anyone who came near… she has completely transformed, all thanks to Desy’s patience and unconditional love 💖✨ Day after day, Desy kept coming back, talking gently and staying by her side. Eventually, the little dog let go of her fear and wagged her tail for the very first time — a moment of trust and happiness so pure that it brought tears to everyone’s eyes.

The Ukrainian savage who terrorised a harmless Hawaiian seal by trying to kill it with a large rock- Was "taught a lesson" by a local man. You love to see it.
Chay Bowes@BowesChay

Ukrainian businessman Igor Litvinchuck attacked a seal in Hawaii. The owner of a major shipping firm threw a rock at an endangered mammal, claiming "he's rich and can pay fines." Hawaiians gave him a reality check, now he faces up to a year in prison.

Can you please share for Walter to help him on his way, he is still waiting for a home. Walter is a 2 year 6 month old male English Bulldog. He is available and looking for a new home with someone who has experience of the breed. Walter would be best in a home with no children or other pets. He is chipped and neutered and healthy with no medical issues. Walter eats Royal Canin Adult English Bulldog dry kibble. He would be suited to a couple or someone on their own. With other animals or children he can be overwhelmed. At night he sleeps in his own crate. He is great in the car and registered at the vets. Walter loves bacon and cheese. He responds to basic commands and will pull on the lead to get the toilet. Walter can be left on his own but does take time to settle. He is shy when meeting new people. For more information or to offer Walter a new home please email info@help2rehome.com Sorry we are unable to accept messages to the page.

Never miss an opportunity to add organic matter. Moving water below ground, to a holding pond on farm. Replacing a 200 plus year old stone pipe. The aim is an improving soil, a greater variety of plants and clean water reaching the river. Back filling with soil and straw.

Another batch of sheep coming in for lambs to be wormed. How many can you count? I’ll be honest, i couldn’t tell you if your right or wrong. The only thing i can tell you is; 🇬🇧British lamb is among some of the very best in the world 🌍 It competes on tables all around the world 🌍 Family’s spend their evenings around the kitchen table eating the produce we as farmers produce every day, this blows my mind daily. Maybe we are taken for granted, maybe people don’t realise quite what goes in to producing food and getting it to the meal times. But we will keep showing how we do it in the most real and honest way we can. Heading to the hill at the weekend, the beautiful, rugged and hard lakeland fells. This is another part of our business we haven’t covered but if there’s one thing as sure as a bear shitting in a wood, we will show it warts and all. Possibly the fastest declining part of the sheep industry. But possibly the best part. Stick with us folks, if you havnt fallen asleep trying to count the sheep.

Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management was published in 1861. It is roughly 1,100 pages. It sold in the millions and sat in the kitchen of nearly every aspiring British household for the better part of a century. And if you open it today, the first thing that strikes you is not how strange it is. It is how sane it is. There is no chapter on cutting fat. There is no anxiety about cholesterol, no calorie tables, no warnings about red meat, no language of guilt at all. The book simply assumes, without needing to argue it, that the foundation of feeding a family is meat, dairy, eggs, fish, bone stock, and the fat that comes off all of them. Beef dripping is treated as an ordinary, valuable thing, saved and used, not a hazard to be poured away. Suet is a staple, not a curiosity. The book gives real space to liver, kidney, tripe, ox-tail, calf's head, and brains, because a household that respected its money and its animal used the whole animal. Stock is made from actual bones, over actual hours. Butter, cream, and full milk appear on the page the way water does, as a given. What the book is describing is a kitchen that had not yet been frightened of its own food. The instructions assume a cook who renders, simmers, bones, and preserves, who treats fat as an ingredient rather than a confession, and who would have found the idea of an egg-white omelette genuinely baffling. It is worth being honest: Victorian Britain was not a health paradise, and the urban poor were often badly fed on adulterated bread and too little of anything. Mrs Beeton herself was twenty-five when she compiled it and did not live to see thirty. The book is not a medical text and it was never a perfect one. But that is not why it matters. It matters as a record. It is a 1,100-page snapshot of what an entire culture's kitchen looked like before the twentieth century rearranged it. Before margarine was sold as the responsible choice. Before the seed oil arrived in a bottle. Before a government committee decided that the foods at the centre of every page of this book belonged at the apologetic tip of a pyramid. Open Mrs Beeton's and you are looking at the baseline. Whole food, animal fat, nose to tail, nothing refined, nothing fortified, nothing feared. Not because the Victorians were wise about nutrition in any modern sense, but because they had not yet been talked out of the obvious. The book did not need to tell anyone that butter was fine. Everyone already knew. The remarkable thing is not the 1861 book. The remarkable thing is that we now need it as evidence.

It's #EndangeredSpeciesDay Red squirrels are close to extinction in England. Time is running out. In Cumbrian dialects, 'con' and 'swirrel' is red squirrel; and in folklore it's lucky to have them nesting near your home. 📷 @terrybnd

#forgottensoulshour Look at this beautiful Romanian Duchess! DUCESSA was born in 2022, weighs 24kg, & is as genteel, calm & kind as her name suggests. She is partially sighted, totally people-centric & according to her Romanian fosterers, “simply adorable”. Ducessa was rescued from the street but is used to living in a home environment & is house trained, during winter she lived indoors, but now the weather is good she spends a lot of time in the garden. Ducessa lives with other dogs & is happy in their company, she does prefer slow introductions & calm, kind, friendly dogs (sounds like a sensible girl). She is also good with cats. For Ducessa people are her real love. She lights up with her humans & her tail is always wagging, she is very bonded with people, so prefers it when they are around. Like many dogs she may take time to settle in a new environment & politely requests that her adopters don’t leave her alone too long until she feels confident in her new home. See this gorgeous lady here: youtube.com/shorts/wHr6FPF… youtube.com/shorts/mwp5Cuc… youtube.com/shorts/fbGbHXv… youtube.com/shorts/dvzkfii… Ducessa's info here: facebook.com/media/set/?set… #TeamZay #rescuedogsrock

What you have been told about cattle methane: - It is a potent greenhouse gas - Cows produce a lot of it - Therefore cows are heating the planet - Therefore we must remove the cows What got left out between point three and point four: - The carbon in that methane came out of the air a few months earlier, pulled down by the grass the cow ate - Methane breaks down in roughly twelve years and returns to being the carbon dioxide it started as - A stable herd is therefore not adding new carbon, it is cycling the same carbon round and round - Fossil fuels add carbon that has been underground since before grass existed, and it stays up for centuries The myth survives entirely on the gap between point three and point four. Mind the gap.

Max Blumenthal just exposed Netanyahu's attempt to silence reporting on Israeli torture Matt Gaetz: "Netanyahu is threatening to sue the New York Times over reports of sexual torture and rape of Palestinian detainees." Max Blumenthal: "There's video. Israeli soldiers at Sde Teiman anally raping a Palestinian with a baton. The soldier - Meir Shetrit - is a national folk hero. Riots broke out when they tried to put him on trial. He was exonerated. Sent back to his position." This isn't "a few bad apples." This is a system that celebrates sexual torture as patriotism

78 years ago, 800,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes. Britain made it possible. Today, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Britain made it possible. 78 years of the Nakba - and 78 years of British complicity in crimes against the Palestinian people.

Please retweet to help Ivy find a home #STOKE #UK Available for adoption✅ In kennels, no interest since March 💔💔💔 Meet Ivy, Ivy is a 9 year old female french bulldog. She came into us with another french bulldog that has now been re-homed, we did have to separate them due to the other dog nibbling at the back of her ears, this caused her a few problems and has taken a few weeks to alleviate, they have now healed. ivy has also had previous hematoma's on one of her ears as you can see that have now healed, this has caused crumpling of her ear and her ear will need regular cleansing to keep her ears nice and clean. We have been told that Ivy is house trained, good with other dogs, children, travels well but cats is unknown. Ivy has been in kennels since March and has not had any interest at all 🙁 and it has also taken a while to heal her ears. Ivy has always been fantastic with staff, and very affectionate with us, she is good on the lead and also clean in her kennel, we cannot fault ivy in the kennels at all here and we would like to see her get her final home, if ivy was to be tried with another dog the other dog would have to give her space and not push her around. We think Ivy would suit a retired owner or someone who works at home without small children around who can give her all the attention that she needs, she loves to be around people! Pease note Ivy will need regular balming of the back of her ears to reduce her scarring. To arrange a meet and greet with Ivy please call us on 01782 304 130 11am until 4pm Original post on facebook and contact 👇 facebook.com/profile.php?id… ☎️ 01782 304130 Email citydogshomes@gmail.com #dogs #England #Wales #Scotland #London #adoptdontshop #StokeOnTrent #FrenchBulldogs #Frenchies @FrenchieandFF @missingdogwales #animalcruelty @PETAUK @NickDixonITV @PatrickChristys @APDAWG1 @domdyer70 @AndrewRosindell @KatieAmess @clarebalding @PatrickChristys @GMB @NickDixonITV @thismorning @ConservativeAWF @LabourAnimalRG @JaneFallon @rickygervais @missgemcollins

#forgottensoulshour BETTY is still only a pupster, born in 2024, a one-eyed playful girl weighing 22kg. She has been neutered & is currently in a private shelter in #Greece. Despite her young age she already has a story to tell. She lived in the mines & was the only surviving puppy of her litter. At just 5 months old she was attacked by other dogs & her left eye was bitten & became infected. Despite receiving veterinary treatment her eye had to be removed. Betty has bounced back from her injury & is a happy girl. She’s full of fun, energy & playfulness just like any other young dog, & now needs to find her forever family to share all her love with. Betty would love a home with a garden, where she can run & play, & can live with other dogs. Betty's info. facebook.com/media/set/?set… #TeamZay #rescuedogsrock
