@iKnowBall0444 @B_Sommermann Lol, holy angry nitwit. I didnt say they couldn't, but definitely cost them a couple million seeing what mintyukov just got, compared to drysdales reported contract a couple days ago

@fletcher_fire @B_Sommermann ??? We trade Risto for draft capital (a 1st) and a forward thats going to be replaced by Leo and we have 20M+ to sign Zegras and Drysdale. Youre genuinely retarded.

Current state of the Ducks and it is ugly.... with Mintyukov done at $7.2M, Ducks cap is getting tighter and tighter as their roster gets smaller and smaller. Current space is $9.9M - which is on low end for Gauthier, many project 12-13. The cost isnt becoming the price tag of $18M for Carlsson now, its becoming the quality of the Ducks roster. To keep Gauthier and Carlsson, players will have to be moved out. At least one of Kreider, Killorn, Vatrano will have to be moved to fit just those two. But wait, theres more. It is hard to think the Ducks will enter the season with the defense corp they have now. Which may lead to another one of those three having to be moved. Then that means a forward has to be added. Flyers really did a number on the Ducks here and have a real shot at this... tick tock tick tock tick tock #IgniteTheOrange

Back in the day, the Flyers loved making big trades or signings/announcements on Fridays. Today is Friday. I hope they do something awesome today so half of you lunatics can calm down.

@charlieo_conn This feels like Snider, good job Danny. It's not working, change the game. Will it work to win? Who knows, but its fun, and isn't that the whole god damn point of it all! But keep it up. Ironically, the best thing for Anaheim would be to NOT match, but they will. @charlieo_conn

Regardless of how this plays out, this is a total "actions have consequences" comeuppance for Pat Verbeek, after years of nickel and diming his good players in negotiations and lowballing them. And I love when the universe once in a while spits out a truly just result.

Little breakdown of the Leo Carlsson offer sheet situation. The Ducks absolutely blew this situation by not getting Leo signed already. Leo has reportedly already signed the offer sheet, so Ducks have to match or lose him for compensation. Ducks are now in a tricky spot 👀

Widowed men remarry fast and at high rates. The men who had the best marriages are the quickest to want another one. Nobody runs back into a burning building. These men know exactly what marriage costs, and they want to pay it again. No research paper can tell you more than that.

If they had a good draft strategy, sure. But their track record of 1st round trades lately is very poor
Yariv Wolok@Ywolok

If the #Flyers are drafting with their 1st round pick they should definitely considering trading their 2nd round pick to move up. They picked 4 guys in the 2nd round last year. Their prospect pool is full…go get your guy.

Some may dismiss this as monogamy-cope, but I genuinely find sex with my gf hotter with each year that passes. For me, I think it's because as our relationship deepens, we get to know and love more and more dimensions of one another. So, when we make love, we are making love to more and more and more dimensions of one another, which just provides greater state space for different types of pleasure / passion / connection etc. It's like if when we first knew each other, we were connected by x number of dimensions, and now we're connected by x² dimensions. So, the field of play for passion and excitement is x-times larger than when we began. I actually think the different experiences people have on this front supports the arguments of many polyamorous people that some people are just wired differently. Perhaps for those who are strongly wired for pair bonding, the pair bonding drive just recruits the sex drive into its agenda in ways that it doesn't for people for whom that drive doesn't become dominant. I'm only 6 years into my relationship, so i'm open to the idea that this could change over time. Perhaps, once we've had children and the pair-bonding has served one part (obv. not all) of its function, things will evolve. But for now, I'm loving the experience of discovering ever more dimensions for passion, pleasure and connection within my relationship. I genuinely find both more novelty and more intensity there than I used to find in the experience of discovering new sexual partners for the first time.
Aella@Aella_Girl

i respect monogamous couples that still have a passionate sex life after v long-term relationships but idk how they do it. Even with amazing sex, over years the novelty eventually wears off for me; the best thing to rejuvinate it is for my partner to go bang other women.
