One last take: if used on non-QB, the difference in opportunity cost between where Penix & Hurts were drafted (8 vs 53) has been overstated imo. When using a pick surplus chart the difference is about an early 3rd

Jordan Love, Russell Wilson, Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes were all drafted when their team already had established starter (or had just signed/drafted someone to be that). Taking shots when you aren't sure if you have The Guy is probably good
