This girl is cruising down the highway in her stick shift, windows down, wind in her hair, belting out songs while she shifts gears without missing a beat. She looks genuinely happy and in control. Most people these days never learn how to drive manual. It takes real timing and coordination to get the clutch and gas right, especially when you’re just trying to have fun and sing along. Seeing her do it so naturally makes you realize how much of that skill is disappearing. Do you think driving stick is becoming a lost art, or do you still think it’s worth teaching people even if almost every new car is automatic?

Feel for the Geordies. We’ve had a fair bit of banter over the years but the way the players who they have idolised have jumped ship in last 12 months to go wherever the money is and not willing to stay and help the club rebuild is a sickener for them I’m sure. Not going to gloat over any of it and pray for the day the rules are changed to allow for proper competition. I won’t hold my breath though!

Respectfully disagree @danbardell. What was 'rigged' was letting City and Chelsea spend without limits before pulling up the drawbridge. Spurs were frugal, built infrastructure and now deservedly benefit. We need to do the same. #avfc #thfc #cfc #mcfc

I'm a friend of Ireland and the Irish but this is nothing more than the type of fucking stereotyping bullshit that you, Larry, should know better than to parrot. The English caused no issues in Boston nor wanted to so to suggest otherwise, like stereotyping the Irish or Scots or Welsh without good reason is, frankly, wrong. I've been to both England games with both attended by up to 50,000 England fans, and to a man and woman they've done zero wrong. Being a proud Irishman need not make you an anti Englishman for the sake of it. From a pro 32 county Englishman.
