Hear from the people of Falta 👇 Muslim men who will tell you there is no enmity here; that they celebrate Eid and Kali Pujo alike, shoulder to shoulder with their neighbours. Hindu women who will tell you that Hindu and Muslim children grow up together in these neighbourhoods like siblings. This is Bengal. Its communal harmony, its syncretic soul, its centuries-old tradition of fraternity and inclusivity that no Bangla-Birodhi Bohiragoto has ever been able to break. And it is precisely this harmony that drives BJP to the edge of madness. A people that refuses to be divided is a people they cannot conquer. So they run an all-out smear campaign, manufacture fault lines that do not exist, and pray that their venom finds a home here. It will not. Bengal is not Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, or Bihar. This soil does not take to their poison.
