Heads up if you're in the southern or central Plains. Sunday afternoon supercells could develop from north Texas through Oklahoma into Kansas with large hail and damaging winds. The threat peaks during the evening hours as instability builds. Stay weather aware this weekend.

We have an active stretch of severe weather ahead of us that will really kick off this weekend and last into next week and beyond. The SPC has issued 15% risks for severe weather (equivalent to a slight risk level 2/5) for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (days 4-7).

Anyone else having weird problems with @RadarScope on macOS Sequoia and the viewport snapping to the left and a bit down when trying to click-drag it or scroll on the touchpad? (Also the font rendering looks way...wider, than usual)

My @RadarScope must have updated. The fonts are huge, and worse, when I drag the map to Oklahoma, it snaps back to Kentucky. Not good. Sonoma 4.8 on a MacBook Pro. Anyone else?

Multiple days of severe weather are coming! Thursday, Friday, and Saturday all have slight risks of severe weather, with damaging winds, severe hail, and tornadoes possible. This is the start of the 2026 tornado season!

SUPERCELLS are possible on Wednesday across parts of the Southern Plains! Thunderstorms developing Wednesday afternoon and evening could organize into supercells capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. While the tornado threat currently appears low, it cannot be ruled out if storms are able to fully mature. Areas near and around Dallas, Fort Worth, Wichita Falls, and southern Oklahoma should remain weather aware as forecast details become more clear over the next couple of days. Stay tuned for updates as we monitor this developing setup.

Fatality Accident (Denton County) Denton County ESD 1/2 and multiple law enforcement are working a major accident reportedly involving a motorcycle and fatality on southbound I35W near FM 407. Southbound lanes are blocked. One northbound lane is also closed. Major delays in this area.

My iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 26.2.1 just randomly rebooted. Forgot it was on, but just sitting idle with 96% battery life doing nothing. Odd

I am really enjoying the iOS 26 Liquid Glass design despite some not liking it. I think it could use a little refinement for sure, but the overall concept is nice,
