@frenttrederick @worldhockeyrpt I like it too, yes the top teams play early, but they get a double elimination setup while the bottom teams are one-and-done -- lot more pressure in that situation.

Why does Tampa and Montreal get another two days off? They got two days off between games 2 and 3. Oilers Ducks are every other night the entire series. McJesus would love an extra day off.

@worldhockeyrpt More and more leagues adding something like this -- NBA playin is similar, but first one I ever saw was the Indian Premier League (Cricket). The IPL format is 1 v 2, winner goes to Final, lose plays the winner of 3 v 4 (with that winner going to Final).

The Calgary bench was yelling about going upstairs, fans don’t see the game as coaches and players. I cheer a whole second before anyone I watch with and I don’t think I’m that special. 3/4 of the Anaheim arena could not see the puck at all and was cheering. Objectively they didn’t see shit live. @frenttrederick @grantmccagg You can point to any individual call and argue either way but Tampa & Florida have been a priority of the NHL to increase market share. These corporations put strategies in place to influence outcomes, not conspiracy theories but facts.

How can a ref not rule it to be a goal because he did not see the puck cross the line as he was out of position, but then talk to the other three officials who never saw it cross the line either, because they were all behind the play, and then rule it a goal?
