@Langley84M @pyjamas_black Yes and they’d probably be busy also dying their hair pink and talking about being triggered. And also they might miss the vote because they got distracted doing a land acknowledgement. The time spent kissing their framed photo of AOC would also leave less time for showering

I work at a polling station in Dublin and I'm giving anyone who looks like a far right voter (poor hygiene, baseball cap, mid 40s, lonely etc) a pencil so I can erase their votes later

A local cafe I like a lot has now put up a "Free Palestine" poster. I don't feel comfortable about this - don't like politics in social exchange, & maybe Jewish customers may feel put off - but am I wrong? Everyone is entitled to express their opinions.

@CoulahanDerek @Healyhack It is a post mortem, step 1 in an investigation, Hillsborough victims had little sign of trauma too.

NEW: Gardai have at this point no physical evidence to prove foul play in the death of a Yves Sakila on Henry Street. It’s understood a post mortem found no obvious visible injuries. However more tests are awaited and huge resources are on the case: irishmirror.ie/news/irish-new…

@Economicopoly @albertdolan_ 'And not a sod turned' Clear to see you haven't a notion about projects of this scale which would significant concept design, surveying, site investigation, existing service diversions, accommodation works before a first tunnel (of which ireland has next to no industry) occurs

And not a sod turned. I admire your desire to challenge all of this and wish you continued success. Ireland is full of people lining their pockets convincing the Irish that the challenges they are purportedly trying to solve are all unique to Ireland. They will make it out like they are engaging in a project of profound and complex engineering, while anyone flying into Dublin can see it is a mostly green urban area where a relatively simple few km of tunnel and over ground project could be done in a few short years by any competent engineering firm who do similar all over the world regularly. It is tremendously embarrassing to know this will be a crony gravy train before anyone gets on an actual train. @SineadOS1

I’ve been analysing purchase order and payment flows linked to MetroLink. Published data shows the “client partner” consortium for the MetroLink project involves a substantial workforce. I asked how many people are involved in that contract and how the scale of that activity is being managed. The response indicated that, at peak, up to 1,000 people may be engaged across planning, design and tender preparation. Major infrastructure projects require specialist expertise. But at this level of activity, clear oversight, resource management and coordination are essential. This line of questioning was only possible because TII is now publishing detailed purchase order data which strengthens scrutiny of large-scale public projects. The Q3 and Q4 data for 2025 is out and can be found on the tracker. New Data: Q3 2025: 17.51 million Q4 2025: 38.77 million This now bring the total to 86.6 million for 2025 and now totaling over 111.6 million for the whole period.

Events didn't "get out of hand". The reason we have laws that treat everyone equally is so that the peace is kept. Once you create a group who can commit crimes without sanction, you're creating a situation where others have to defend their goods and lives with violence, not law.

@D11Mc @rtenews You seem to be attempting to justify killing someone by potential asphyxiation with a stream of unevidenced claims and hearsay. So my point stands, are you going to make a justification for killing others suspected of stealing?

@xenologian @griptmedia Common sense isn't common when the zeitgeist in our society on this is someone allegedly stealing luxury products from a fancy store seems to sacrifice their right to life. Sad indictment of modern Western democracy what I can see, not much common sense

@xenologian @griptmedia Children can be criminals, when people like you attempt to make excuses for this around a clear wrong that has occurred (previous crime/benefits/stories on person/foreigner/documents) i am mocking a warped morality compass with the flawed reasoning you liberally utilise

@D11Mc @rtenews Oh, someone was on benefits? Good thing you let me know that, that changes the whole context and obviously we should reassess our moral high ground, this leech clearly deserved to die! ...Why did you need to include that? Apart from making further excuse for a clear wrong

@fridayvase @rtenews Don’t lecture me & think you have the higher moral ground! he was a foreign criminal,on benefits who shouldn’t have been here,it’s very tragic how he died, it is also very interesting to observe how some scream hysterically about this but remain silent on so many other tragedies!

@Johnw45t @CapTweed @punishablepress Maybe the family of poor Frank Daly had their own wishes and don't want to do performative acts of grief to feed the algorithms of terminally online rightoids who think their own shadow is an antifa conspiracy

@fridayvase @griptmedia He wasn't a kid now was he? And apparently repeat offender on top of that. Again, you shouldn't have to die over it but certainly your choices no matter which ones always come with a set of consequences. All i say is that we shouldn't make saints out of sinners, that's God's bizz
