JETOUR TO BE PRODUCED IN SA Chinese automaker Jetour is moving into full local production in South Africa. Output is expected to reach 50,000 units annually, with more than 3,000 jobs projected across the value chain. The shift follows strong local demand for Jetour’s T1 and T2 models. Local production is expected to improve parts availability and support more competitive pricing, while allowing the group to benefit from government incentives and strengthen South Africa’s role as a regional manufacturing hub. This week, the Justice Department says it lacks funds to cover the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry’s six-month extension into police corruption. What a coincidence. 🤔🤔🤔
