Muslim “refugees” are claiming benefits from the UK’s welfare system while taking trips back to Afghanistan to visit their Taliban family members and friends.
They claimed asylum because they were supposedly fleeing danger and persecution. Yet they feel safe returning to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan for holidays, family visits and whatever else they please—all while British taxpayers fund their housing, food, benefits and healthcare.
This is not genuine refuge. This is welfare tourism and outright fraud.

There were massive international protests over George Floyd and those police involved were severely punished with long prison sentences, yet the police responsible here did not even lose their jobs!

An 18-year-old kid gets stabbed in the street. He’s running for his life, begging for help, and instead of saving him, the police handcuff him while he bleeds out because the attacker claimed “racism.” They let him choke on his own blood. No urgency. No humanity. Just cold, ideological policing. Months later? Still no names. Still no suspensions. Still no accountability. Meanwhile, the same UK police have arrested over 12,000 people for social media posts. They move at lightning speed to jail citizens for tweets and online comments, yet they can’t even name or discipline the officers who allegedly let a stabbing victim die in handcuffs on the street. This is the definition of two-tier policing: aggressive against ordinary people speaking online, but protective when it comes to their own failures and protecting the narrative. The Government is potentially in contempt of Parliament.
By failing to publish unredacted documents, they are failing to abide by the Humble Address on Lord Mandelson's appointment as our Ambassador to the US.
This is unacceptable, and unless the Government stops the obfuscation, I will raise the matter as a matter of contempt.
I reminded the House that the now PM, Keir Starmer, established a precedent for this in December 2018, when he secured a motion holding the then-Government in contempt.
