A Adobe acabou de se ajoelhar. Integrou 50+ ferramentas do Creative Cloud dentro do Claude. Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, Lightroom, Express. A Adobe virou backend. Quem controla a conversa, controla a monetização.

And for everyone saying the same thing, yes I'm aware holding back kids in kindergarten has been going on for decades... This article is on holding back 8th graders. Read the title. With hopes of earning a scholarship, and maybe reclassifying if they get one, maybe not.

There’s a lot of levers corporate leadership can pull, especially one as large and well funded as GitHub. I don’t have full visibility into the internal decision making of course but I believe they pulled the wrong lever today at the wrong time.

@pitdesi At some point we have to stop blaming DEI for everything It’s ok to admit ppl, in general, sucked at their work before or outside of DEI efforts. It really is. ( I know it’s not the author of this post)

to clarify 1) this exam and the % figures are of students taking the remedial course (1/8th of students) 2) it isn't ME blaming those things for the students, it's the report UCSD published senate.ucsd.edu/media/740347/s…

Extremely alarming UCSD (#6 ranked public uni) did a study and found that 1/8th of their students are not middle school proficient in math. How’d it happen? Covid, eliminating standardized tests, & DEI admission These are actual exam answers and % that got them correct 🤦🏽‍♂️

Huge thank you 💚 to @altcap @chamath and @sundeep who forced me at dinner to go and get my Coronary Artery Calcium Score (CACS) The cheap $150 procedure only took 10min, and required no Dr referral I luckily got a score of 0, but know of others who found blockages and took preventative measures ASAP GO AND DO THIS TEST

Adobe pulled this scam w me in 2020 I since then tell everyone: AVOID Adobe at all costs, regardless if their software is good. It’s a rotten business from the top, and their execs don’t think scamming people is a bad thing. Never buying Adobe again (Use Canva, Affinity etc)

According to eyewitnesses, armed ICE agents dragged kids out of their beds in the middle of the night, zip tied them and put them in rented vans while raiding an * entire apartment building* on the South Side of Chicago. youtube.com/watch?v=vOXOWA…

@paulg @harjtaggar I don’t think it gets any more difficult as much as the people they hire lack the skill / will to do so . The quality of ppl diminishes as it grows

@harjtaggar I think the root source of this problem is not lack of motivation but the difficulty of measuring actual performance once the organization grows.

Big companies are filled with people lacking intrinsic motivation so they have to quantify inputs as performance metrics: meetings attended, emails sent (preferably late at night), LOC written, tickets closed, etc.
