A lot of eyebrows raised at the official attendance of 7,980 in Clones on Sunday. Was it an error? I took these photos five mins before throw-in - TV showed lots of empty seats in the stand too.

Is a revolution unfolding in Ireland. 🇮🇪 Day 3 of farmers, truckers and hauliers fuel protests and blockades of depots and ports…and the country is grinding to a halt. Massive rises in fuel costs, insane carbon taxes, very limited help from the government and an EU that refuses to allow countries like Spain to cut VAT have pushed these businesses over the edge. They simply cannot pay their expenses any more let alone make a profit. And more and more of the Irish people are backing them. The government are threatening to bring in the army. If that happens all bets are off, anything could erupt….yet zero coverage of it on mainstream British news🤷‍♂️ Support Irish farmers, support Irish truckers, support British farmers.

Taoiseach: “The protests at the moment are wrong. To prevent mobility, to prevent people from accessing livelihoods, medical appointments, disrupting day-to-day activities in the manner that has happened is wrong, and is a wrong form of protest.” jrnl.ie/7006282

The Taoiseach says the current protests across the country are wrong, he also believes the protests do not have the support of the majority of the public as they are disrupting people’s livelihoods.

"Italia '90 - We Took On The World." ☘️ My parents kept their Italia' 90 milk bottle for 30+ years (with the full squad on the back!). Feels like a good day to dig out the nostalgia, here's hoping to brings a little bit of magic again 🇮🇪 🤞

Ryan Mohan on Aidan O’Shea here, Ryan O’Toole marshalling Ryan O’Donoghue when he can. Mohan looks a good option in the size department to mark the burlier full forwards of the O’Shea/Murphy/Comer ilk.

And, so it begins. Chemo, day 1. 2.5 hrs later than appointment time which is annoying as I'd been fasting for it as it increases the effectiveness of it, apparently. Feeling good 20 mins into it, but no idea which side effects, if any, I'll be hit with. Some people get none at all, so fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath. More updates to follow as it progresses. 5 more to go after this.

Please read Gillian’s post about her son Harvey and retweet it. No mother should have to struggle with the state for basic healthcare and the truth.
Gillian Sherratt@GillSherratt23

We fought for Harvey at 12 weeks pregnant when we got the diagnosis. We fought for Harvey at 36 weeks pregnant when they suggested withdrawing medical care at birth. We fought for Harvey when we found out he had severe scoliosis and had only been linked to an orthopaedic surgeon that deals with feet. We fought for Harvey when they dismissed my concerns around allergies-later diagnosed as anaphylactic. We fought for Harvey when they tried to provide a buggy instead of a wheelchair. We fought for Harvey when he had delays getting a suitable hospital bed for home. We fought for 5 years to get him a speech device so he could communicate. We fought for him to get scoliosis surgery. We fought for answers when we found out he was removed from the surgical list. Harvey is now gone and we will continue to fight for him, and for the other children and families facing these unnecessary and cruel battles. We fight because Harvey deserved better and we fight because that is what Harvey always did. If government or CHI think we will ever be quiet and just accept what has been allowed happen, they simply haven’t been paying attention. #JusticeForHarvey #NoChildWaiting #StatutoryInquiryNow @CarrollJennifer @SimonHarrisTD @CHI_Ireland @MichealMartinTD @SBH_PAG @scolionetwork @Stephen63224725

Fianna Fáil have now been forced to admit that Ivan Yates worked with their candidate during the Presidential campaign.  He also worked with Housing Minister James Browne.  Can they now tell us who else he has worked with and for how long and why this information was hidden from the public given the clear conflict of interest.

The story of JERMAIN DEFOE is worth reading: "I remember during my second season at Sunderland, Louise Wanless, the press officer, told me one day: 'There’s a boy who wants to meet you.' She explained that Bradley Lowery had neuroblastoma and that I was his favorite player. I was like, 'Alright, of course. No worries.' But I had no idea what he would be like. From her description, I assumed he’d be super shy and quiet. But as soon as he walked into the dressing room, he ran straight to me, jumped on my lap, and hugged me with a big smile on his face. After that first meeting, I asked Louise to put me in touch with the family so I could visit him at the hospital. At first, I went with other players, but then I started going alone. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. We had this natural connection, this bond. I still don’t know how to explain it. I got so used to having him at Sunderland that I really struggled after he was gone. He taught me to appreciate life and the people around me so much more. He changed me, my whole perspective."
