@LNBDublin Lynn, energy service providers should be legally obliged to give regular (bi monthly) statements to their customers showing rates charged under every heading, KwH charges for the 3 periods, standing charges etc...complete transparency. PrePay Power are scamming their customers.

@LNBDublin Thanks Lynn, the Eurostat report wasn't attached. I'm a volunteer with SVP and come across numerous cases where PrePay Power misbehave. They refuse to give customers statement of KwH usage & related charges. They refuse requests to xfer to another supplier, investigation!!!

@Independent_ie You need to get your facts right. Rates as low as 16c/KwH are available to residential customers in Ireland. You need to investigate the TOTAL rates charged by suppliers preying on the vulnerable, specifically PrePay Power. Their overall charges are shocking.
