@ritzw4re No issues at all. If possible try to run more consistently and push yourself a tiny bit more everyday. Once your body starts adapting you’ll start to see results 🚀

Weekly 10k check in 🏃‍➡️ I should probably wake up early to run, Bangalore heat makes it much harder ☠️ On the bright side now I can comfortably run sub 6 min / km even on bad days. Not good, not bad either. Off to work now 🚀

@gaurishcodes Agree, but we also shouldn't let it tie too strongly to our identity to not be able to acknowledge our mistakes till it's too late

My mentor at Rubrik was a super talented chinese principal engineer. One golden piece of advice he gave me was: “Learn to build a strong opinion on things. No strong engineer you look upto just says yes to everything” This has been a game changer. Learn to reason and be vocal with your reasoning. Its okay to be wrong, you can always correct your understanding. You are hired to reason out decisions and build great products, not to bootlick.

@AgnaySrivastava The problem always existed and was an absolute pain. Nobody picked it up, thanks for making lives of candidates much easier! Folks can focus om interview preparation than spending hours sending resumes to hundreds of portals daily 🚀

@ShayanJ81846859 Agreed, just being fixated at your opinion when you’re wrong and not accepting your flaw in reasoning is bad ☠️

These are different things imo, having a strong opinion is around work. Work is mostly technical, somewhat around business requirements. You can debate with technical and evidence based facts. Usually asking “why” around things when you don’t agree with them or don’t understand them helps a lot, for both sidea. In terms if feedback, acknowledging that there’s a lot of room for improvement and pro-actively asking for the same helps a lot. I consider myself as a neural network, the network should be fast and can hallucinate, but the neural network should also pro-actively RL and improve its weights

@gaurishcodes There is a line between having a strong opinion and then not being open to feedback at all. How do you think one should manage that?

@AjayEdupuganti @myprasanna @vorfluxai You can plug and play your Codex Subscription. This will route your calls through your subscription. You can also bring your own API keys if you want to. Apart from that by default we provide most models on the market at API pricing.

@myprasanna @vorfluxai I am going through the website I can see that, based on the task, it will pick Opus Sol, etc. But will it be flat api pricing? Or, if we have subscriptions, can we connect OpenAI's OAuth flow as we do with Pi or Hermes?

Most businesses don’t need just any software. They need a way to turn how they actually work into software That’s what @emergentlabs is becoming: the operating system for businesses Today we’re announcing our $130M Series C at a $1.5B valuation to put that future in their hands

Launching @vorfluxai : The autopilot for software engineering. I was prev co-founder / CTO of @Rippling ($10B) and #1 coder in India. Vorflux is my high octane Ferrari. Every AI coding tool still makes you fly the plane. That's the copilot model: you stay in the seat, approving every turn. The models quietly got good enough to fly the whole route, but the tools never caught up. So we built the autopilot. @vorfluxai raised a $15M seed by @ycombinator @peakxvpartners @alliancedao @parkerconrad @jake_zeller @balajis @nivi @metakovan @lmrankhan @nikitabase @0xrwu @ayushjaiswal @mattshumer_ @eshamanideep @sreeramkannan @dvcoolster @nusimow @TeddySolomon11 @ashtoncofer @rvivek etc Drop your biggest engineering bottleneck below. I'll reply with how I'd attack it with Vorflux, and hand you $200 in free credits to bang out your backlog. Our full thesis 🧵👇

Thanks for the kind words! Being a founding engineer or early team is not about the title to be honest, although it does sound cool on paper. Its more about your affinity towards what is being built and the risk taking ability. All of the engineers who joined left their comfortable jobs and joined this because it just felt the right thing to do. Even Prasanna doesn’t need to build right now if he wants, it’s just that it’s in his blood to be a builder. Being a founding engineer at any org is around having extremely high ownership, operational efficiency and decision making skill. Although the role mentions “engineer” we do more or less whatever we can to make the org succeed, its like being a mini founder!

@myprasanna @gaurishcodes Congratulations on the launch of @vorfluxai The product looks amazing, and that makes me even more curious about the people building it. I would love to know what skill sets are required to become a founding engineer, considering both technical and non-technical aspects. Would love to hear your thoughts on this in detail.
