@jeffblankenburg Meta is a nightmare to deal with, as is their lack of support.
English

@MrJamesMay Boringly, they are also used in servers, I replaced one a couple of days ago.
English

@github What an absolute shower of ****. Whoever was in charge or finance and pricing deserves a good talking to. What a shambles!

Starting June 1st, GitHub Copilot will move to a usage-based billing model as GitHub Copilot supports more agentic and advanced workflows.
In early May, you'll see a preview bill experience, giving visibility into projected costs before the transition.

@EE The incident report speaks of power issues, rusty antennas and your inability to gain access to your site for over FIVE months.
@Ofcom ask them about INC000098842858
@financialombuds FIVE months of no (or degraded) service.
Maybe @Moneybox might be interested?
English

@gavinwatson I'd recommend having a chat with our technical team on 150, and they can take a closer look at what's happening and see if we can get it sorted.
English

@EE Time to go public, there's been a fault in my area for FIVE months now due to lack of maintenance and access to site. My bills continue to rise yearly, but you're not investing. I wonder what @Ofcom and @financialombuds will say about this?
English

@EE Thanks for your copy/paste response, I've already done that. This has been ongoing for 5 months and is unacceptable. Your own incident report highlights a total lack of maintenance and investment in your network and ridicules your excuse for hiking prices every year.

@gavinwatson Hi Gavin, we use the complaints that we receive to contribute to our monitoring of the communications industry. If you wish to provide us with further information, please complete our quick online form: ofcomlive.my.salesforce-sites.com/formentry/Site…

I went to a lovely village fete today, and there was a fish ‘n’ chip van, so I had a large cod and chips. My missus ‘didn’t want any’, but then, of course, proceeded to eat around 40 per cent of my chips. Also, two random women simply walked up and helped themselves to some, as if that was perfectly acceptable.
How much longer must men put up with this? How do we know how much food to buy? If you run a chips-adjacent food outlet, how do you know how much to serve to a bloke when there are obvious women present?
Of course, I’m happy to share with the frail, fainting flower of womanhood, because what’s mine is hers first. We are men, and our duty is to provide and, ultimately, defend, even unto death. But this is about chips, and boundaries are important.
Sisters: it’s OK to like chips. It’s OK to want some. We know you do.
English

@gavinwatson @bluesky exactly this. and the second problem is even when the status page is on separate infra, its still self reported. the company decides when to admit something is broken. third-party monitoring that checks from the outside is the only way to know for real
English

We are experiencing some service interruptions and our team is working on the issue. You can find the latest updates at status.bsky.app.

@jeffblankenburg @amazon @stirtrek If a company doesn't want to take my hard earned cash, I quickly find another company that will be happy to take it
English

@jeffblankenburg As others have said. Google will likely publish it, Apple is a nightmare. I have a very similar app (similar use case) I just tried to publish for locked down users. Google published it, Apple will not.
English

I need the opinion of a software developer with experience with mobile app stores. iOS and Google.
If I build an app for a small custom event that attracts no more than about 70 people a year, and is completely locked down to outsiders…
Would Apple and Google publish something like that? My instinct is no.
English

@TheAA_UK No, you lied to me, twice.
I was told the driver couldn't take me home because he couldn't do more hours, that was a lie.
Then I was told you had an agreement with WHSmith to leave my car keys securely. That was another lie. Check the telephone logs.
English

@gavinwatson We’d never lie but our ETAs can change, and Patrols may be reassigned based on their location, workload or remaining legal driving hours. We’ll always do our best to keep you updated along the way.
English

As I've got 3 more hours to spare after being dumped in the nearest services by @TheAA_UK I thought I'd write a scathing review of their incompetence in getting me back on the road. So far it's been 4 hours, the same guy has attended twice and I'm still not mobile. Utter shambles
English

@AssistDesk28569 Do you really think I'm that stupid? Scamming bastards.
English

@greenidge81 @AskNationwide @TheAA_UK @HalifaxBank My two were "driver cannot do anymore hours", but he told me he was on duty for another 7 hours and was told by AA NOT to take me home. Then I was told to leave my car keys at WHSmiths (who they had an agreement with). Spoke to WHSmiths while on the phone, they had no idea! Lies!
English

@gavinwatson @AskNationwide @TheAA_UK @HalifaxBank Same mate, lied to all day long. Twice as a patrol was 20 minutes from me “ the truck had issues”okay sure! Well glad you got sorted too
English

@greenidge81 @AskNationwide @TheAA_UK @HalifaxBank It was just under 8 hours in the end. I get their incompetence and the lack of patrols they have (likely due to cuts), but it was the lies that got me. I was blatantly lied to twice and caught them out both times. I'm sorry for your experience.
English

@gavinwatson @AskNationwide @TheAA_UK I raise your 8 hours to 28 yes 28 hours waiting to be recovered. Broke down Friday 7pm finally got recovered at 11pm on Saturday night. Apparently it was “ a busy weekend” shambles of a company @HalifaxBank you need to get a new provider
English

@TheAA_ukhelp Do you really think I'm that stupid? I feel sorry for the people you scam.
English

@TheAA_UK No, you lied to me, twice. Lying is totally unacceptable. If you think this one is being left here you are very, very mistaken. Incompetence I get. Lying is a big no-no. Currently on the phone to @AskNationwide about this and I'll see where it goes after that.
English

@gavinwatson Hi Gavin, we'll always help as quickly as we can but have been super busy. Also longer recoveries can be spilt into stages so our Patrols can stay within their legal driving hours and local areas. We're sorry about the delay and hope you're doing okay.
