@TheUfoJoe @LueElizondo I honestly don't care a ton about this AAWSAP AATIP inconsistency, but I am very happy to see Lue acknowledge Joe and address the question in a pretty detailed way. I'm just a Joe and Lue fan happy to see them have a constructive interaction.

My original post is below, if anybody wants to see that. I'll include @LueElizondo's full response in this post and I appreciate him taking the time to answer. I'm fully aware that the most important thing is we're dealing with a non-human intelligence (or something presenting itself as non-human) which is interacting with humanity. I believe that. And...we may have reverse engineered some of their tech that could improve life on this planet if the masses ever gain access to it. Dr. James Lacatski's comment that we have reverse engineered this tech but not to its "full extent," is important. How far have we gotten? 60%? 80%? Having said that, I think it's also important to get accurate details of everything else because, one day, it WILL be part of our history books. AND...no less important, we must protect whistleblowers and provide amnesty. They're national treasures. Here's Lue's reply which was in two separate posts. The one thing that I'm still confused about is Lue talking about AATIP (the non-AAWSAP-nickname version) starting in 2009 when @jaystratton has said, "I created AATIP in 2015." Either way, I look forward to attending Lue's event in a few weeks. Should be a good time! ~~~Lue's Response~~~ Joe, I completely sympathize with those who are confused. In fact, there is definitely some blurring of the lines and grey areas. Let me see if this helps. 1. AAWSAP was the original contract vehicle that was approved and executed in 2008, although discussions occurred before that from my understanding. This included BAAS as the primary contractor. Focus included UAP and anomalies at Skin Walker Ranch 2. AATIP was created to focus solely on military encounters with UAP. The 2009 memo demonstrates this. Keep in mind that justifying the spending of military resources (people, travel, time, etc) requires a military focus. This means showing a clear connection to military equities. The perfect example is the Nimitz incident and investigation that Jay conducted. I was part of AATIP already but focusing on the security element. 3. From 2009 to 2012 both AATIP and AAWSAP were run simultaneously. Meaning, AAWSAP was focusing on the ranch and some archival UAP cases (for which I was not part of so I can’t really speak to any degree of authority involving AAWSAP. As for me, at AATIP we were focused on military encounters with UAP which there were many. 4. In 2012, funding for AAWSAP ended and from my understanding those efforts ended (I could be wrong here because I wasnt really involved with that effort. With the finding done for AAWSAP, AATIP continued. In 2013 and 2014, we had another 10 million that was provided to us (AATIP) through appropriations but the language was vague and so the money didn’t come to us and instead taken by another element in USD(I), much to our disappointment. Fortunately I managed activities that allowed me to use our own resources to keep the program alive. By this point, we had plenty of military incidents to review and triage. 5. AATIP continued throughout 2014, 2015, and 2016 but it became clear to me, Jay, and others we would need more resources and more top cover. We also wanted the Air Force to authorize material transfer from specific aerospace contractors to AATIP. Those elements said we needed a new memo from SecAF to replace an existing one that directed these contractors to maintain the material. We were unsuccessful getting that memo from SecAf. 6. When Gen Mattis became SecDef I saw it as an opportunity to see if we could get a memo from the SecDef, thereby trumping (forgive the pun) the SecAf. To do this, we would need to brief his staff. Please keep in mind that all the while AATIP had been placed into DoD control systems but very few people in the new chain of command were even aware of it. So this was the perfect opportunity to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I.e. get top cover at the highest level while also getting a memo signed by SecDef to allow certain contractors to hand over the material they said they already had. Chris Mellon knew folks in the SecDef front office and introduced us. I already had served with Mattis overseas but I didn’t know anyone in his front office so Chris’ help was invaluable. 7. Jay and I along with our colleagues kept running into roadblocks with initiatives such as Interloper. As such, in 2017 we decided one of us would have to break cover in order to get the Secretary’s attention to this important matter. We decided it would be me that would go public while Jay remained in the shadows to continue AATIP from inside. 8. I believe it was in 2018 Jay becomes the new UAP Task Force Director. Unfortunately he faced sharp resistance from my old leadership but that is his story to tell because I was gone by then. As for KB, I was aware of the KB effort through others that were part of AAWSAP and AATIP before. Because this was not my program and was under DHS, I offered support where needed but I wasn’t really involved with it. With this in mind, please understand that the lines were not always clean. Some who worked in AAWSAP also worked in AATIP, while there were others (including me) that were only part of AATIP. And then there were some that were part of all three efforts, AAWSAP, AATIP, and KB. Please keep in mind that any public details involving programs must be cleared through DoDOPSR. So for this reason the synopsis above has already been cleared (as I did when I wrote Imminent and when Lacatski wrote his book) but any other details would need to go through the entire review process all over again which is excruciatingly cumbersome. Hope this helps…
Joe Murgia@TheUfoJoe

The problem, Lue, is that AAWSAP also had the nickname AATIP. I believe they did that to prevent certain anti-UFO folks from finding out about AAWSAP. Unfortunately, and apparently, it didn't work. And then we have @jaystratton saying he created AATIP in 2015, a few years after AAWSAP ended. Then we have KONA BLUE, which I think Lacatski will address more in depth with his next book. So, people would love a crystal clear timeline of everything and everyone involved. Because it's confusing.

The Speech or Debate Clause is one of the most powerful constitutional tools Congress has to inform the public when agencies continue to withhold information of legitimate public interest. Additional UAP records, imagery, and footage remain classified. Where that classification is not adequately justified, Congress does not have to remain passive. We applaud @RepEricBurlison's commitment to use the Speech or Debate Clause if necessary, and to keep pushing until more UAP records, imagery, and footage are made available to the public.
Eric Burlison@EricBurlison

This was the low hanging fruit. Apollo 17 photos. Pilot accounts. Predator drone footage. More is still classified, and I've seen some of it. If the administration doesn't release it, I will, under Speech or Debate.

Nothing says "transparency" like having 8 taxpayer funded UFO videos sought by Congress, but then refusing to release them yourself unless you pay a rental or purchase fee to see glimpses of them in a documentary about yourself.

The past months have been deeply exhausting on a human level. I have watched "colleagues" selectively use poor data with the goal to discredit our work, while simultaneously misrepresenting both the facts and our research. At the same time, some of these same individuals have been carrying out a long series of damaging and manipulative actions behind closed doors that go far beyond ordinary scientific criticism. I have read Reddit threads discussing me in ways no person should have to read about themselves, including comments implying I could become the next “dead scientist.” Probably well meant, but still, not fun to read. I’ve received social media comments implying I should be happy to be alive. Yesterday, I discovered fake nude pages using my name and identity. And some of our skeptical “friends” have recently accessed my team’s unpublished datasets through unethical methods and circulated their own “reports” despite having been clearly informed that they do not have permission to use or share our data. I'm not going to be silent anymore about this.

For future reference to those making cartoons about my science: please don’t put me in lab coats or masculine clothing. I don’t care what people think women scientists are “supposed” to wear. I am who I am, and I dress the way I dress -- it changes with my mood, the day, and yes, I love my high heels. First, I am a woman. And yes, when people deliberately try to portray my looks in an unflattering way, it does hurt me. Second, I am also a scientist. Trying to erase someone’s identity for the sake of an artificial storyline also erases something very real: science is done by human beings, not detached machines.

I'd be a really good dad if I was home more with my son. I'm never home. What the fuck is his name? He said there's kids in his class in fifth grade their parents are in their mid thirties and you're 63. That means nothing because there's no guarantee in life. You dunno what's gonna happen. You can't predict that. I said who's to say that your friends parents in their mid thirties aren't gonna die in a fiery a car crash tomorrow? You don't know that. Or a murder suicide. That could happen. A murdering clown could go into your bedroom tonight and strangle you with a balloon animal. I just gave him a little kiss on the forehead. I said you get a good night's sleep. We'll talk about this in the morning if you wake up.

@Cortex_Zero This is awesome. Just a heads up, you gotta check if the source is from a scientist (legit source) or not. I think this looks legit but I have fallen for a few videos like this that are just AI slop and totally inaccurate.

"DoW-UAP-D7, described the UAP as “diamond-shaped” and moving at approximately 434 knots." (Now, I'm only sharing what I feel are the more interesting videos.) GREECE 01.01.2024 All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office The United States Central Command submitted a report of an unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP) to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) consisting of one minute and five seconds of video footage captured via multiple sensor modalities aboard a U.S. military platform in 2024. An accompanying mission report, DoW-UAP-D7, described the UAP as “diamond-shaped” and moving at approximately 434 knots. The observer also reported that the UAP was only detectable via short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensor. Video Description: The screen is split into two viewing areas for the first ten seconds of the video, with the right side displaying electro-optical footage and the left side displaying SWIR footage. 00:04: An area of contrast becomes distinguishable against the background in the center of the right frame. 00:10: The display shifts to a full-screen view of the SWIR feed to better focus on the area of contrast. 00:55: The area of contrast remains generally within the center of the sensor field-of-view. The area of contrast visually resembles an inverted teardrop with a vertically linear trailing mass suspended below. 00:56: The operator switches the sensor modality to visible spectrum, losing the subject against the background. -01:05: The operator switches the sensor modality to SWIR (Black-Hot) but does not reacquire the area of contrast.

It’s extremely hard to “do a little disclosure” and avoid the tight scientific/societal questions. The only way this has worked has been starving smart technical people for any detail at all. What I will be watching: Everyone: “Did the government psy-op us all with BS? If so: Why????” Biologists: “You said the government has alien biologics? Do they have eukaryotic cells? If so what do we know about their histones, matrilineal mitochondrial dna, hemoglobin atp synthase??? What is their placement on the phylogenetic tree? Tetrapods??? Isolates?? If not eucaryotic, how are their cells/tissues organized? Do they use proteins?? What are their body plans??” Linguists: “What is the structure of their communication schemes? Can it be mapped onto a generalized human grammar? Or are our languages not expressive enough to cover their languages? Do they use sound or light or some other wave to transmit/receive? Do they have an analog of music??” Physicists: “How do the standard model and general relativity appear as effective theories/lagrangians of the alien understanding of the cosmic waves, media and fabric for lack of better terms? How many dimensions are there, are they engineering accessible and how many new ones are temporal? Are there new forms of energy corresponding to these new degrees of freedom? Is the speed of light gameable?” Civil Libertarians: “How many innocent lives were ruined keeping this secret? Did we fake a lot of this?? Who authorized the lying, discrediting and possible wet work?” NatSec: “Are we owned by an unknown force? Will it now be trivial easy for everyone to make WMD from new discoveries?” Etc. This is not going to stay controlled if it is at all specific. As soon as there are any specifics I guess that the game changes character instantly and goes into high gear with totally different players.

When the illusion finally cracks, you’re left staring at the reality you tried to ignore: the man you trusted wasn’t a savior, just a hollow performance propped up by bluster and ego. The confidence, the promises, the swagger,it all collapses into something far less impressive. Not a mastermind, not a disruptor, just a loud, erratic figure out of his depth, masking incompetence with noise. In the end, what looked like strength reveals itself as pure theatrics,a caricature, a spectacle, a punchline that stopped being funny the moment you realized you were the one who believed all his bullshit......
