@MartinSLewis @MartinSLewis Got this email from @BritishGas today. No mention of them waiving the exit fee for those on fixed rate. If I read it right, they're recommending I pay a £75 exit fee to save just £16.31 a year on the PG rate? Perhaps Martin or @BritishGasHelp can advise?

@MartinSLewis @CornwallInsight I’m beginning to thank that I’ve just fixed at 27% above the current price cap with these projected rises. Your team helped me calculate if was worth fixing they were great!

Not what anyone wants to hear, but.... @CornwallInsight has increased its estimation of the new energy price cap from October. It is now up 46% taking the amount for someone on typical use to £2,880 (it was at £2,800). And the January price cap rise by a furthre 1%.
