On 25th March 2026, @YGCUganda with @WemUganda convened a community dialogue bringing together indigenous women, WWDs, leaders & youth from Kapchorwa, Kween & Bukwo to address climate change challenges, share lived experiences hand co-create practical, community-driven solutions.

All we do is complain about that we have incompetent leaders. Are we ourselves minding about our actions. The change we need starts with us. Even without leaders, we can have a clean environment #properdisposal #cleanenvironment #OurResponsibilty

Court update. Eight environmental defenders opposing #EACOP project who were arrested in Aug 2025 appeared before court today. Unfortunately justice was denied and matter adjourned to February 27, 2026.We condemn the ongoing injustices targeting Environmental defenders in Uganda.
