@theo Spent the day with 4.6, absolute disappointment. 9.6 hours on a very trivial task, still trying to get it done. Yesterday with 4.5, I smashed more than 10 similar and more complicated tasks.

Opus 4.6 is a really good model, but I'm not sure if I love the direction...

@ashugarg People love scrolling and discovery is a large part of the experience. Reading is more work, and trusting that the model really did pick the best accommodation for my holiday is not something I’m willing to risk, show me all the options please.🙏

@ashugarg Great post and very insightful agree, decision traces is the new oil for automation. Likely it has always been, but our combined level of work automation was so low pre-llm that we are only now shaping up and building vocabulary.. Dont fully agree on e-commerce; explanation 👇

I just trained a Claude project on all my personal finances 🤯 While my corporate accounting and financial world is always dialled and has full time attention, my personal finances have often fallen by the wayside. Now I have an intelligent assistant who knows everything I'm spending on and can suggest optimizations. It's already saved me $10,000 (finding things I was paying for but not using), flagged a bunch of expenses where I'm spending more than I need to, and proposed tax optimizations that may end up saving me hundreds of thousands of dollars longterm. Insane. To do the same, just tell Claude what accounting software you use and ask it what to export and then upload it into a project.

@rauchg Lowdefy, build web apps in YAML - imagine we thought v0 how to do this. so apps are easy to change / debug for devs who dont know js / css / react.

@d4m1n @Martin_Adams Considering yaml was created before json, and tried to do way too many features, I think json creators learned from that burn and tried the opposite approach. sad.

@Martin_Adams perhaps the simplicity is why it’s been sticking around for such a long time. Maybe it’s that… simple? 😃 I would have loved a v2 with comments tho. Why do you think we never got a V2?

📝 My 2.5 years experience of running LLC in US as a solo founder and I live in India. I use @stripe Atlas, to registered LLC and paid $500(one-time setup fee). Apply online took approx 30 minutes(1000x faster than registering a company in India) I got EIN within 10 days, so I can open bank account. I use @mercury, and got approved in 48 house. I use one stripe account and create multiple account for my side projects. Like under that company, I run all my new ideas and projects. In $500, I started a company without any hassle. Now you can start with $250 if you have invitation link. After that 1 year, my expenses. $100 - Registered agent $300 - Tax filing to 3rd party $300 - US delaware franchise tax. Total $700, But I save more than $2500 with Atlas program that year by free transaction fee from stripe. So, running a company is cost you $0. Now, How I get money in India. I use icici bank, I directly send USD into my bank. This took max 2 business days. I pay myself as salary. 🥳 1 hack, I use my mercury card for online shopping(Ex: Today i bought iPad from apple IN and use mercury card) , book flight tickets. Yes, I pay tax in India, and I pay here to my CA approx $200 per year. I'm running 5 side projects and making $8k-$10 each month. When I started, I was making $0, so you just have to start. I struggled for a few years. Can’t remember where a got the advice but it worked. First thing in the morning dink 3 glasses of water (A LOT) at least 1 hour before you eat / drink anything else. After about a month you’ll feel like a new person. I did this for 3 months and it’s been a few years with no issues..
