A truth I've come to know over the last year. Was reminded of this slide from my config talk by a great post from @gevdesign on linkedin. Marketing design is sales, and the way you pitch is through controlling visual perception.

My open rate dropped from 42% to 41.8%. I knew someone was sabotaging me. Turns out it was Google Calendar. Two clients booked me for the same hour. Both unsubscribed when I didn’t show. That’s the Calendar Tax. Not a sales problem. A physics problem. open.substack.com/pub/gevmarotz/…
