@lesleyabravanel Native Floridian here & love it & meet so many visitors from other states who wished they lived here. The cost in FL is 1/2 if not more than NY & CA. The cherry on top is that we’re a free state constitutionally run and thus makes a great state. If you don’t like it, LEAVE

Florida has suffered from Republican rot for three decades. We have the lowest teacher pay, a surging cost of living, an insurance crisis, and abysmal healthcare in the bottom ten of the nation. Florida is *the* worst state for renters due to an affordability crisis, with 67% of renters struggling. Key issues include high housing costs, high insurance premiums, hurricane vulnerability, and high crime rates in specific areas. The state also ranks poorly in raising a family, aging in place, and public education (see teacher pay above). Draw all the maps you want, dehydrated DeSantis. The only way to rectify this Republican rot is by voting for Democrats.

Ron DeSantis just proposed a new congressional map to hand Republicans even more seats in a state where they already hold a massive advantage. Not because communities changed, but because the focus is on control rather than on lowering costs, fixing insurance, or helping families.

I’m shocked, but I’m not. The Biden admin and Democrats literally worked with social media companies to censor people. We are grateful for the strong and principled leadership of @GovRonDeSantis and @FLSurgeonGen who have consistently led the way in protecting parental rights and advancing health freedom in Florida. Sadly @Daniel_PerezFL is yet again blocking the medical freedom bill from advancing in the house during special session, just as he did during regular session. This is a total disregard for the legislative process and the voices of Floridians. When a bill passes with broad support in one Chamber but is denied even its first hearing in another chamber, it raises serious concerns about whose interests are truly being served. One doesn't have to look too far to see why. Lobbyist disclosures show the medical freedom bill in the House had over 150 appearances from lobbyists with over 50 principles lobbying against the bill… we can see who @Daniel_PerezFL listens to and it's certainly not the voice of Floridians.
