@C_3C_3 @elonmusk Your illiterate… The Statistics says if you combine all spelling variations (Muhammad, Mohammad, Mohammed), the name ranks higher. It's basic data aggregation. If we combined every spelling variation of "Jayden," "Kayden," & "Aiden," it would top the charts too.

As much as generics would be cool for PHP. I'll be honest. It's still not the thing I'm desperate for. For me, it's improving the ecosystem for things like AI. I want to be able to easily and reliably use local AI models in PHP without building a micro service in another language to have to deploy and maintain. Every option for things like that seems to come with a ton of caveats and pain points that make it not worth the effort.

You’re the extremists.” “Absolutely.” What a powerful exchange of ideas. One person paints millions of people with the same brush, another billionaire agrees, and suddenly we’re supposed to believe a nuanced political discussion just happened. The internet has really lowered the bar for what counts as an argument

@TheAliceSmith @elonmusk But democracy is only good in a educated country otherwise the vote of a dumb person has the same value as the vote of a smart person For example, in Germany, we have exactly this problem I love democracy but we have a lot of Dumb people here

@DavidSteadson @StateDept Other have gotten richer, faster than the EU and therefore EUs power and influence within world has declined. This is decline. Europe as a direct result has less say on world order.

"European gdp percentage of the world is down." Because others places have gotten richer. That is a *good* thing, not a bad thing. Do you think a country would overall be better or worse of if it was 100% of the world's GDP? GDP as some kind of all important metric is ridiculously overrated anyway. The EU and the US are equally productive. We just willingly work less and think people who think that's a bad thing are insane. "European industrial output is down. Deindustrialisation has been the policy." This is just false. There is not and naver has been such a "policy". It has occured though, for various reasons, and as I said - pluses and minuses. "Native population of European countries as a percentage of total population is way down." Again, not true at all. 20 years ago about 91% of the EU population was born in the EU. In 2025 it was about 90%.

The civilization that gave the world Beethoven, established the rule of law, built the Sistine Chapel, and circumnavigated the globe must cast off the shackles of shame and self-doubt. Europe must reverse its decline. Europe must survive.

@DavidSteadson @StateDept But you just have to look at charts to see the points he makes. European gdp percentage of the world is down. European industrial output is down. Deindustrialisation has been the policy. Native population of European countries as a percentage of total population is way down.

I was referring generically to the State Dept post and the current administration in general, but sure, I'll give you some specifics on Rubio's speech. (1) "And that we would now live in a world without borders where everyone became a citizen of the world." No European country or leader has remotely called for this. Claims of "open borders" are a lie. (2) "while many nations invested in massive welfare states at the cost of maintaining the ability to defend themselves" Utter nonsense. Europe has massive military might and European spending on defence of Europe dwarfs anything the US spends here. Russia wouldn't stand a chance against Europe (though it would be a longer fight now due to their drone experience). Europe's main military weakness is that coordination is primarily through NATO and thus the US. That was because that's what the US wanted, and we (mistakenly, apparently) thought you were allies we could trust. (3) "To appease a climate cult" Dangerous, delusional bullshit. Learn to read. (4) "And in a pursuit of a world without borders, we opened our doors to an unprecedented wave of mass migration that threatens the cohesion of our societies, the continuity of our culture, and the future of our people." Just utter nonsense. Delusional propaganda pushed by the right that doesn't remotely reflect reality. This is exactly they kind of "self-brainwashing" I'm referring to. (5) "it is our preference and it is our hope to do this together with you, our friends here in Europe." You literally just spent 2 months threatening to invade us. Fuck off. (6) "Deindustrialization was not inevitable. It was a conscious policy choice, a decades-long economic undertaking that stripped our nations of their wealth, of their productive capacity, and of their independence" Again, nonsense. You can argue the pluses and minuses but to claim that it "stripped our nations of their wealth" when it unquestionably made "the west" the wealthiest people in history **by magnitudes of difference** (7) "Mass migration is not, was not, is some fringe concern of little consequence. It was and continues to be a crisis which is transforming and destabilizing societies all across the West" Sure, but you know what's significantly driving "mass migration". Fucking climate change, you morons! Anbd it's very very predictably going to get worse. And your response? Call the scientific fact of anthropogenic climate change a "hoax" and a "cult". Delusional (8) "It has not solved the war in Ukraine. It took American leadership in partnership with many of the countries here today just to bring the two sides to the table in search of a still elusive peace. " 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (9) "It was powerless to constrain the nuclear program of radical Shia clerics in Tehran. That required 14 bombs dropped with precision from American B-2 bombers. " 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (10) "And it was unable to address the threat to our security from a narco-terrorist dictator in Venezuela. Instead, it took American special forces to bring this fugitive to justice." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (11) "We want allies who are proud of their culture and of their heritage, who understand that we are heirs to the same great and noble civilization, and who, together with us, are willing and able to defend it. " Again, just anti-woke nonsense propaganda. What kind of moron thinks Europeans aren't "proud of their culture and their heritage"? Fox news hosts and right wing nutjob podcasters are the kind of morons. (12) "and we have bled and died side by side on battlefields from Qheppyong to Kandahar. " Hang on ... what? Didn't his boss just say a week or so ago that NATO allies weren't on the frontlines? Get your story right Rubio. 🙄 (13) "We don’t know if the Russians are serious about ending the war." yes we do. (14) "Nothing has stopped in the interim, so there’s no buying of time here in that regard. " Complete lie. Direct military and financial US support for Ukraine has been ZERO since Trump took office. ZERO. In summary and to my main point. "climate cult", "open borders", "mass migration", "shame of culture", "decline of the west", etc etc. None of this reflects reality. It's literally propaganda dreamed up the right to attack progressives and make people fearful so they vote for them. And so many people actually in power now seem to have seriously brainwashed *themselves* with this propaganda such that they're now believing their own lies.
