Winter has not set in. The number of vehicles has remained the same. And yet air pollution has been rising in the entire region for the last few days. This includes Lahore in Pakistan where people cannot be faulted for bursting Diwali firecrackers. You don't have to be a scientist like Prof. Ranganathan to draw the obvious conclusion.
