Wylie ISD got EXPOSED in February 2026 when “Why Islam?” (the dawah arm of ICNA) went onto the Wylie East High School campus, invited by the Muslim Student Association (MSA) .They handed out Qurans, Sharia pamphlets, hijabs, and branded bags - with ZERO district approval and NO parental consent. A staffer was placed on administrative leave. Superintendent Kim Spicer admitted a “procedural breakdown,” issued apologies to families, and promised to tighten protocols. Yet she never explained why she was trying on Hijabs with the MSA students last year!? ....and NOW Wylie ISD DOUBLES DOWN. Right after the scandal, they rolled out their 2026 Spring Menu proudly declaring the INTRODUCTION OF HALAL-CERTIFIED MENU ITEMS as part of their “dedication” to “flavorful, balanced meals” and “evolving dietary needs.” 🔺 This isn’t a coincidence; it’s deliberate escalation. Your tax dollars are now subsidizing ritual Islamic slaughter (animals facing Mecca while prayers to Allah are recited) on public school lunch trays - while Texas politicians brag about “banning Sharia.” Halal isn’t innocent “inclusion” or just a dietary preference. It is presented as full Sharia compliance enforced through the food supply chain - certified through a global halal industry that expanded significantly after the 1979 Iranian Revolution, including partnerships with multinational food corporations. The same networks fueling dawah (like “Why Islam?”) now become embedded quietly in cafeterias after being caught pushing openly. Where’s the review of taxpayer-funded religious accommodation policies? Parents: 🔺Call the Student Nutrition Department at 972-429-2336. 🔺Demand transparency on halal sourcing and certification. 🔺Attend school board meetings. 🔺 Ask questions. 🔺 Request documentation. Sharia isn’t “banned” in Texas; its influence is being normalized in public institutions. Engage now before policies become permanent.
