@josesaezmerino Better organisation and much more space for tabs if you are lazy to organize in spaces/folders. As well what i liked on Arc is that i can easily hide the sidebar and have only website visible and then use shortcut to show my tabs list.

@goranhora The project is definitely a failure, as they haven't published anything since 2024.

When I discovered GameFi, I went all in—no backup plan. I still firmly believe gamification will shape the future of crypto, alongside DeFi and DePin. With Crypto Miner 2 launching soon and the bull run knocking, I’ve never been more excited! Great things are coming!

When I see laptops full of stickers nowadays it looks kinda cringe to me It was normal though 10 years ago I wonder what exactly changed in culture to make it cringe?

I must be the odd one but I still use Safari as my main web browser One time I pulled it up and people looked at me like I’m crazy 😅 I just like the way how texts are rendered in WebKit than Chromium’s Skia/Blink, and I don’t care much about the shiny new AI features

moving chains / multi-chain won't get you more users the issue is there are not enough paying users on any chain the most successful web3 native games last year did not make meaningful revenue web3 gaming only makes it is if we build for new audiences, they will not come to us

@andferminiano @fern I agree, but a developer's job is to prioritize FUN, with ROI and calculations taking a backseat.

@fern MMO gaming economies when people are losing money to have fun does work. Casinos work too. ROI stuff does not work and happy you’re moving on

Great points. I still believe there is an angle of P2E that can work if you lean into the financial side instead of trying to make it work for gamers. A casino but its converted so far to a game that no one even realizes they are playing a casino. Essentially everyone in P2E is trying to onboard gamers but I think the P2E that can really work is using it to turn gamblers into gamers.

Reading this hit me hard. As a developer who’s been working in crypto gaming for 7 years—without VC money— it’s tough to see a studio that has a good reputation and a solid product with $33 million in funding conclude that crypto gaming doesn’t work. While I agree with 95% of what was said, I don’t agree that crypto (transactional) gaming can’t work. It absolutely can—but it needs to be implemented smartly, on top of a game that already has strong metrics and resonates with a Web2 audience. But if you can’t build a fun game to begin with, what do you expect? Failing with your first product isn’t a reason to stop. It’s a reason to iterate, focus on making gameplay fun first, and then keep experimenting with crypto integrations and transactions. I hope @ProofOfPlay won’t be the one to stop experimenting. I’m confident the product we’re building is 99% ready to change how transactions and loyalty systems work in games—and it can be implemented in any game or gamified app, on any scale. Let’s keep building. Web3 gaming is here to stay.

Building in the Web3 gaming space has never been harder. What pushes me forward is my strong belief in my team and myself. We will find a way to make it work, one way or another. CM2 is coming soon! 🚀
