Codex Orchestration w/Symphony is timemaxxing for builders. It turns project work into isolated coding runs with agents that handle CI proof, PR reviews, complexity checks, walkthroughs, validation and safe-healing merges. This might sound hyperbolic... but it could make folks way more productive. It removes a bunch friction with “agent made a PR slop”, "wtf happened in this Github Actions", “how to avoid doing human reviews on 100+ PRs a day" and more. In this video, i dig into my experience using it with where it helped and how to avoid hitting a rate limit on on 1000 merge conflicts in less than 24 hours. github.com/openai/symphon…

Agent management gets way better once you stop treating everything like one giant thread. I’ve been using “swimlanes” separate vertical lanes and it makes management way less chaotic. twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

Most AI coding demos are “look, it made an app.” This one is different. It’s: - here’s the metric - here’s the sandbox - here’s the experiment budget - improve it - if you fail, reset - if you win, commit - never stop twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

Thank you @aiDotEngineer for packing out the keynote audience to see my boxes/learn why engineering skills still matter I had to dash off straight away so if there was a question you wanted to ask, ask me below!

so nice of @mattpocockuk to show a grid of boxes to the audience

Building a personal agent with a fully local setup w/Hermes Agent + Gemma 4. Is Gemma 4 any good? How does Hermes compare to OpenClaw? How painful is self-hosting? Only one way to find out. twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

Anthropic just sent an email saying that you can no longer run 3rd party harnesses like OpenClaw using Claude subscriptions. Right now, both OpenAI and Anthropic are losing money on power users who run multiple agents 24/7 using their $100-200 subscription plans. This reminds me of when Uber and Lyft were subsidizing rides to win market share. After both companies went public in 2019, ride prices nearly doubled over the next few years. And it took Uber 14 years from its founding before the company posted its first profitable year in 2024. Both OpenAI and Anthropic are likely to go public soon. Once this happens, their margins will be public as well and there will be a lot of scrutiny on the money-losing all-you-can-eat subscriptions. So I think there's a good chance that these subscriptions will either get more expensive or more limited after both companies go public. The counter-argument is that both companies might keep prices low as long as there's still heavy competition and that compute costs will drop as well. But yeah, overall I don't think the unlimited buffet will last forever. Running local models on Mac Minis and Mac Studios is looking more appealing now as a safety net.

@zarazhangrui 100% i ended up building my own browser/editor/terminal/adhd timer to try and help with this. It’s not perfect but so much better than generic tools.

My single biggest pain point right now: AI-induced attention deficit I have 5 Claude Code sessions running 10 Terminal tabs open 50 browser tabs open 100 X articles in my bookmarks When there are multiple AIs working for you, you're constantly task switching When you're waiting for AI to output, you're constantly distracted Because what used to be hard is now so easy, you always wanna do more, more, more Because of the speed of the AI news cycle, you feel a constant need to be on this app Add all this up and the result: you live in a constant state of distraction & delirium. Focus & deep work is harder than ever If anyone has figured this out pls teach me how

The biggest bottleneck in AI coding might not be intelligence, it might be structural: one agent trying to do research, implementation, review, and cleanup inside a single polluted thread. If you use Claude Code this may be the case to make the switch. twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

@garrytan curious whether the value here persists as providers build more of this themselves, or whether neutrality itself becomes the differentiator?

For agentic systems founders and dev tools founders: People do not want to pay for raw markdown and they shouldn't have to. But they may pay for orchestration, hosting, updates, collaboration, portability, analytics, and managed execution. These can be great businesses.

just to confirm this wasn't using the replit mobile app being capable of building react native apps with access to camera and other native iOS functionality? their stance is now that you can't even build a todo list app because you need to write it in swift and wait 30+ days for review.

@thdxr They are distilling Opus based on the input / outputs usage they get. Then fine-tune on top of Qwen3.

Introducing Dasher Tasks Dashers can now get paid to do general tasks. We think this will be huge for building the frontier of physical intelligence. Look forward to seeing where this goes!
