@retirejapan_OG One thing I'm not clear on is 'on time'. Because, for example with city tax, there's the date the first letter asks for, but then if you enquire at the city hall they'll show you the real actual deadline which is about 2 months later.

I suck at planning these things so I vibe coded an app with gpt-kun to help me do it nicely
this was v4 though total effort was very little - earlier attempts at algorithmically doing it were nasty so made a great tool for adding frames and manually placing them.
It gave me all the positioning info, snapped spacing, and what height / distance to bang in hooks and nails depending on the frame.

All the tsunami warnings for Japan have been reduced to tsunami advisories, for waves of 1m or less.
We absolutely got off lucky from this one - which was still one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded. Warning systems did their job, which is to avoid false negatives.
