@mattvanswol Iran has a civilisation dating back 2,500 years. We have been invaded many times, but we never became Arabised. We are a civilised nation that is occupied by foreign entities (hopefully for not much longer).

My modern medicine skepticism was officially solidified after I quit my epilepsy medication 3 months ago and haven’t had a seizure since 💁🏼‍♀️ For reference, I have gotten seizures 2 days out of the month like clockwork EVERY MONTH since being put on medication 4 years ago, and the seizures have only gotten more frequent and more severe. At that time, I was told I would lose my license if I didn’t take the medication. I was told to try BENZOS just 4 months ago. No one thought to say “let’s try taking you off this shit”. Instead they continually scared me into believing that these meds were “protecting” me from the “bad” seizures. Stop letting doctors scare you.

@cmc223 Good question. You pay it because that money is distributed to help with everyday uses. keeps the neighborhood sidewalks, roads, potholes, etc fixed, pays for public amenities like: school, fire department, police etc. You can ask your city reps for their spending sheet.

I’m 30 years old & I can’t grasp property taxes. So like even if the house is paid off in full…the government still owns the plot of land that the house is on? LMAO🤣🥴
