As context, Baylor spent ~$16M on men's basketball in the 2023-24 school year — $2M more than Texas A&M and $4M more than Houston. If Baylor ramped up spending at a similar pace to those two schools (roughly +$2M), the Bears would be #13 nationally in MBB spending.

The CFP format is staying at 12 teams, but the autobid structure is being altered slightly. Instead of the “5 highest ranked conference champions” it will now simply be all of the Power 4 champions and the 1 highest ranked Group of 6 champion.
