KY18GUH driver gets upset that I videoed his phone use. I'm fairly confident he took an FPN for 6 penalty points and £200, and that his insurance now costs roughly double what it did before. Why are Range Rover drivers the ones I seem to catch most often?

@fake_journals @fake_journals for a recent paper we published in a prominent journal the reviewers and the editors asked for so much additional work that a postdoc spent many months generating the data and editing the paper. We obviously added him as coauthor, which was closely scrutinized.

. Should author changes be stopped altogether, no exceptions? Once a paper has been submitted should there be zero tolerance with regard to adding new authors? If that request is made, the paper should be withdrawn and submitted again, as if it were a new paper? There are pros and cons, for example: Con: The reviews done to date will be discarded, wasting valuable time and effort that has been invested. Pro: It would stop paper mills being able to say (well guarantee) that the paper is "almost accepted", "accepted to revisions" or "publication within n days". ... would the pros outweigh the cons?

@AlTi5 Et moi j'ai un temps de réaction meilleur que la plupart des gens, donc je peux conduire plus vite car je pourrai m'arrêter à temps avant l'obstacle (vitesse, temps de réaction, distance de freinage, tout ça...)!

Mon organisme résiste mieux à l'alcool que celui des autres ; je n'y peux rien. J'comprends pas pourquoi on impose une limite d'alcool pour conduire, c'est injuste.

Par contre nombreux cyclistes grillent le feu principal pour s'avancer jusqu'au feu vélo. Tout dépend du placement ! Si vous pouvez vous positionner en sécurité avant le passage piéton dans l'intersection, je pense qu'il n'est pas nécessaire d'attendre que le feu passe au vert. Si vous allez attendre dans le sas vélos, vous devez alors attendre le feu vert

Question sur le "tourne à gauche indirect" : L'usager effectuant cette manœuvre doit-il attendre que le feu de sa perpendiculaire passe au rouge pour s'engager, ou peut-il le faire dès qu'il n'y a plus d'usagers dans l'intersection ?
