In our 2025 survey of ~300 AI software executives, leaders expect 34% of entry-level roles (39% at high-growth companies) to be automated. For mid-level and above: 20% (31% at high-growth companies). That’s real change—but not a simple story of blunt reductions in headcount. Across R&D, GTM, and G&A, teams report 30-40% productivity gains, with limited impact on 2026 headcount plans.
