@SaulStaniforth Absolutely brilliant. No beating about the bush, just straight up out with it. Everyone knew what Mandelson was like, he'd already had a previous. Why would the PM want anything to do with him

@ManUtd @adidasfootball What's the deal with the latest cheap one strip of material for the 3 stripes. Cutting costs charging the same extortionate prices.

Too on point not to share, “Aussie reply to Trump rant about NATO not being there for us.
Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you.
And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again.
And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
"NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your fucking mouth. Credit (borrowed from) Jim Scroggins - original author 📷 unknown”

@piersmorgan @realDonaldTrump I think everyone already thinks this

This is embarrassing, Delete it, President @realDonaldTrump - unless you want everyone to think you’ve lost your marbles.

@TresaNagy1122 @datomzaki @jacksonhinklle They got taken over because U.S and UK governments staged a coup because Iran pushed back on being screwed over for their oil. Pretty much all of the middle easts problems stem from western interference
English

@datomzaki @jacksonhinklle Over fifty years ago Iran got taken over by a communist regime that stoled their freedoms! The have been thru hell and they cried for help! They Care more about ending this regime which is happening right now more than their own lives!

So, as a doctor I can’t accept a plastic pen from a pharmaceutical company because it might influence my prescribing decisions, but MPs can accept thousands in cash from those who want to privatise the NHS and it won’t affect their decision-making??? CTFO

@JamesEFoster @ZackPolanski Yes @ZackPolanski, that's exactly what should be said to all the media. Stop just constantly repeating what reform are saying, as if it's a fact or has any credibility at all.

@SkySportsNews Was this said about Arteta getting the Arsenal job? Was it said when Barca gave Pep the main job? If it's working it's working. I'm not saying, give him job now, but if this carries on his name has to be in the hat. There are no guarantees that you get a big name in and it works

How is this not a penalty? Mbeumo keeps the ball, Cuenca clumsily bundles him down from behind & cannot get to the ball without doing it.
That's a stonewall penalty. x.com/euromedia5990/…

@MrStephenHowson Negative mostly, contradictory, he's said that these players can't play back 3 then when played as a back 4 said the opposite. I feel he's got stale, sky due a refresh imo

@el_gasconnect @johnmcdonnellMP @jeremycorbyn @UKLabour Just a shame they hadn't learnt not to let snakes like Starmer into their inner circle in the first place.

@johnmcdonnellMP John, when you and @jeremycorbyn led @UKLabour into the 2019 election and you suffered the worst defeat since 1935, did you learn anything? Maybe you should go and join Jeremy.

Message to Keir: Do not underestimate the depth of anger people will feel about this disgusting decision. If you think it strengthens you I tell you it will simply hasten your demise. You could have shown magnanimous leadership but instead it’s cowardice. theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

@SlyForTheRight It should be mandatory that a by-election is called if a MP switches parties. It is not what the constituents voted for, MPs shouldn't have a say in it, it should be an automatic process triggered as soon as they move
English

🚨 EXPOSED: Robert Jenrick shows his true colours
Susan on GMB asks a brilliant and very simple question:
“You were elected as a Conservative MP. Your constituents say the fair thing now is a by-election so they can choose who they actually want.”
Jenrick’s response?
👉🏽 “That’s a valid question… and no, I won’t call a by-election.”
Greed over democracy.
Career over constituents.
An embarrassment on a massive scale.

@georgegalloway Well said 👏🏻 It may well be a flash in the pan, we've been here before, but yesterday was so good to see, a flash of the past that seemed long forgotten, attacking flowing no fear football

Manchester United are back!
I know I know one swallow doesn’t make a summer and all that.
But let me explain.
First I have supported United for more that sixty years, a decision made by my father the day and hour that Denis Law was signed from Torino. As himself a Scotsman with blonde hair and a whippet like inside left instinct (10) I’m sure my dad thought he WAS Denis Law. And if you ever saw Law you’d know that would be something to be.
So I’ve followed many great United iterations and some not so great. I’ve been with Busby and Ferguson. I’ve been with, well let’s not spoil the mood.
Of course my fellow Scot Sir Alex Ferguson gave me decades of joy and so when my own sons came along I naturally decreed that they were reds. Obviously.
The problem was as my sons arrived Ferguson left. And everything turned to shit. Not entirely- there have been moments- but overwhelmingly I have never shaken the suspicion that my sons must hate that from childhood I had decked them out in the colours of a club that so regularly reduced them to tears, of disappointment or worse of boredom.
Until last night.
As I hugged my eldest in a Dive Bar in Hong Kong while United’s goals flew in his face was wet with tears of joy as was the face of my youngest thousands of miles away. My youngest by the way had just helped his side defeat the historic Third Lanark 3-1, with a goal an assist plus hitting the post and the cross bar!
It wasn’t that we’d slaughtered City 2-0. That we’d had the ball in the net SIX times and twice hit the woodwork. That Amad on a run thrills like Georgie Best. That Casemiro strolled like a King. That Martinez so frustrated Haaland he got hooked. Or that Bruno Fernandes will one day have a statue outside Old Trafford. That Harry Maguire bloodied and bruised defended like he was a VC winner at Rorke’s Drift. It was something deeper than these transitory things.
It was that this had been football played The United Way.
Fast courageous flowing filled with élan. This was football as a thing of joy. This was how Best Law and Charlton filled a United shirt. This was how Cantona made us ooo and aaa. How Roy Keane made us unbeatable. How Giggs and Ronaldo twisted their opponents blood. This was our DNA. We thought it was extinct. But we are back.

@craigbigbro1 @d @YouTube Ued the W600 for the first time to paint a cabinet a new colour and have to say using the W600 has been pretty straight forward. My biggest issue is how to store the gun between coats, stopping the nozzle clogging. Don't want to fully clean it. Could you maybe do a video on it?

LOL. GB News issued a live apology to Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, but later deleted the entire show from YouTube to suppress the embarrassment. Share the full clip widely, people. #HarryAndMeghan @I_amMukhtar
Carole Malone was threatened with a lawsuit unless she apologised.😂
