Years ago when Obama was running for his first term, my neighbors kept talking about how great Obama was. I never said a word to them about being conservative because back then I was more centrist. At the time I was a 1099 consultant so I paid for my own health insurance. It was about $650 for a family of three and we had a fairly low deductible. After Obama won and the ACA passed, I lost my health insurance and was told by BCBS that I had to go through the government website to apply. My insurance went from an affordable $650 a month to $2400 a month with a $10k deductible per family member. When I said this to my neighbor, they called me a liar. I asked them where they got their news and they said they watched Jon Stewart. I laughed so hard and they never spoke to me again. I’m glad they finally moved. I just wanted to say this: these are the people we are arguing with online. Completely uninformed buffoons. If you get your information from a late night comedian talk show host, we are not on the same level. Good riddance, Colbert.

These rankings are awful. Tell me you know nothing about U.S. history without telling me you know nothing about U.S. history. The FDR worship is pure brainwashing from public school. • He was effectively a socialist. • He gets too much credit for getting us out of the Great Depression. Arguably, his polices made it worse; the war is what got the economy booming. • FDR is the father of our modern senior welfare state since he signed the Social Security Act of 1935 into law. It is now an unsustainable Ponzi scheme that hurts young working class people. • His New Deal turned the U.S. federal government into a permanent jobs program, making it the largest employer. His policies are largely what has led to inefficient and bloated bureaucracy. • The FDR administration confiscated people’s gold. • He ordered Japanese Americans into internment camps. • And, he attempted, albeit failed to pack the Supreme Court when he didn’t get his way. Moving on. . . John Adams was an instrumental founding father, but he was not a great president. He had his critics arrested with the Alien and Sedition Acts, which outlawed criticism of his policies. He was a highly tempered man that had a very chaotic management style. The only good to come out of his presidency was the Treaty of Mortefontaine, which ended the Quasi-War in 1800. Abraham Lincoln also violated the First Amendment by suspending the writ of habeas corpus. He was a decent President, especially since he oversaw the end of slavery, but that wasn’t his original goal at the start of his first term, which was to preserve the union, even if it meant that slaves weren’t freed. The rest of the “hall of famer” column isn’t bad, but James Madison didn’t really do much good or bad. His leadership during the War of 1812 was good; he was the last sitting President to face combat firsthand. But he didn’t manage it well; we had a lot of losses. The true hero of that war was Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans. Don’t even get me started on the rest of the list…

This 1776 fund idea sure has brought J6 back to the fore on social media. Wow. One of the long held pieces of disinformation put out by the left’s DOJ, the Court, and the MSM, is that the right-leaning independent journalists who entered the Capitol were “part of the mob,” but that the left-leaning indie journos were just doing their jobs. @stephenehorn is correct that by every argument put forth by @TheJusticeDept and by every ruling and statement made by the DC District Court judges, there should have been between 80 and 100 “journalists” charged with crimes that day for “entering a restricted space.” Of course, we all know that didn’t happen. Most of that 80-100 media persons were independents. And here’s the biggest misconception: possessing “media credentials” does not grant ANY journalist the freedom to enter a restricted area without the expressed permission of law enforcement to do so. That is learned in Journalism 101. By that standard, everyone of those MSM journos who entered the Capitol “with the mob” should have been treated no differently than @stephenehorn, @its_me_jd_again, myself, and a couple of others who were put through the weaponization gauntlet for doing nothing different than that of the larger 80-100 group. Worst of all … these judges refused to allow any of us to present a “selective prosecution” defense, and show the side-by-side comparisons of our behaviors to those of the dozens not being charged, who also entered a restricted space without permission, and did the same things as those of us being prosecuted. In recent news stories I continue to be called a “rioter” - from the @nytimes to the @HawaiiFreePress - when the demonstrable proof otherwise is readily available to any “journalist” who cares to learn before making that claim. Here is the video link showing my entire time inside the Capitol on J6: youtu.be/LlXLvbk-6YY?si…

I have the names of dozens of journalists who entered the restricted area and/or the Capitol itself without repercussion (The full number is probably in the thousands) The government clearly stated in my case that they consider each of these to have violated the law That it was their choice to only charge independent journalists like myself, while letting MSM journalist who photographed me in the Capitol for the NYT Magazine go free

🚨BREAKING: U.S. Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) was hit with pepper spray after stepping between ICE agents and anti-ICE protesters during clashes outside the Delaney Hall detention center in Newark, New Jersey. Kim reportedly tried to de-escalate the situation amid ongoing unrest tied to a detainee hunger strike, but got caught in the spray when agents moved to clear the area. He was seen receiving first aid for breathing difficulties and irritation.
