Greymanes, Patch Version 1.02.00 is rolling out. This patch adds the Headgear Visibility option, private storage capacity increase of up to 1000 slots depending on the Greymane camp expansion level, and more. All we want is some reassurance that there is something to look towards, because right now there's nothing that's basically confirmed releasing. - Hexe was revealed in 2022 and we know nothing - Black Flag Remake isn't even a 'real' thing technically - Invictus isn't official, but it sounds terrible - Jade disappeared off the face of the earth randomly And everything else is rumours/leaks. We just need a bit of reassurance that there is something to look towards. All Ubisoft has to do is communicate. It could be an image, a tweet, a teaser, a project leader replying to a tweet saying "yes it's still happening", anything. It's not hard. Stop being so mysterious all the time, becuase you ain't got the credentials anymore to do that. Ubisoft have already canceled multiple AC projects such as the post civil war game, the shadows co-op, and shut down rebellion. You can't blame AC fans for being skeptical for the future.

Oh boy. I had to tap out of the New Game + showcase. What a terrible, painfully boring show. I had higher expectations from a video game showcase supposedly made by “gamers for gamers,” but after 30 minutes it becomes painfully obvious why streamers and YouTubers, once they reach a certain size, become completely detached from reality. Five content creators who might be tolerable individually were put together in a room, and that was genuinely one of the worst decisions of the year. These are people used to being the center of attention, so they never stop yapping. You get three or four trailers, maybe a dev interview, and then it cuts back to the creators repeating exactly what we just saw and heard—in content creator voice—with the most lukewarm, nothing-burger takes imaginable. They spend more time talking than actually showing games. I ended up muting the talking segments and unmuting for trailers… and they’d stay muted for 20 minutes at a time. That alone should tell you something. This is a terrible format for a showcase. I get that they funded and organized it, but they are not hosts. They treated the entire thing like their personal channels, and it completely killed the pacing. If I wanted to hear any of them talk endlessly, I’d go out of my way to watch their channels. I don’t tune into a showcase for creator commentary—I tune in to see games. The show was also absurdly long, and it showed: half the viewers dipped around hour two. I pushed through out of stubbornness, but even I couldn’t finish it. None of the games shown or interviews were compelling enough to justify staying. And the funniest part? The #1 complaint about game showcases is “too much talking, not enough trailers.” They heard that and said “bet,” then made an entire four-hour event to stroke creator egos. They are not interesting enough to carry that. Sorry. I hope they learn from this. If there’s another New Game + next year, I’m skipping it live and watching the trailers the next day.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Claws of Awaji DLC is seriously disappointing. Trying my best to get through it but this DLC leans hard into everything Shadows did wrong and I am in shock at how inconsequential the story becomes after its prologue It’s all: go to place, kill target, come back, go again, kill more. I am so tired of this gameplay, What happened to engaging narratives? Why is Yasuke even in this DLC when he is given nothing to do? Just feels like they cut Act 3 from the main game and padded it out into a DLC, I really wish I had more positive to say but I am disappointed so far.
