As of midnight tonight we are on strike 332/365. 91% were forced to vote YES for a strike. It did not have to be this way. We hate to do this. It is breaking our hearts. #faircontractnow #TruEMU #UnionStrong

Irony is dead - in one of the more Union friendly states of our country, on Labor Day, when we celebrate Unions, a public sector University is forcing its unionized employees to vote to authorize a strike. @AAUP @UAW @AFLCIO #faircontractnow #truemu #educationfirst #UnionStrong

This will go down in history as one of science and medical research's greatest achievements. Perhaps the most impressive. I put together a preliminary timeline of some key milestones to show how several years of work were compressed into months.

A real "super-benzene"! We synthesized a stable [6] cyclo-para-phenylmethine derivative, which shows 30-pi global aromaticity and open-shell diradical character. Paper was just published in @J_A_C_S as a Communication: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Check out our first paper on ChemRxiv! A return to my first love #PAHs and #conjugatedmaterials. I’m especially excited to share the one-pot variants that sew 2 different strained intermediates together through an oxadiazinone core to form 4 C-C bond in a predictable sequence!
