Desert golf is rightfully controversial among golf course and architecture enthusiasts, but I’m very skeptical of anyone who doesn’t like Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw’s Saguaro course at We-Ko-Pa. Just east of Scottsdale and etched into the desert—the best public golf course in AZ.

Public golf in Chicagoland stinks. Pretty much universally. That is, unless you love to struggle to get tee times, pay high rates for a 5.5 hour round, and deal with starters who are both unfriendly and don’t enforce pace… But I’m headed to one of my favorites this afternoon!

@Etsy Buyers be aware when purchasing from Etsy. The platform has currently put payment reserves on thousands of shops as they are apparently a ‘Risk’. Etsy are holding 75% of funds and paying sellers 25% making the shops even more of a risk, as it’s impossible to operate!
