@jasonfried I haven’t owned a 993. 964 and 997.1 for me. Simple cars. Perfectly analogue. All lovely shapes.

Speaking of cars... It's remarkable just how good the 993 generation of the 911 is. I've owned all the air cooled gens, and a couple of water cooled, and there's just nothing that fits like the 993 fits. Absolute sweet spot. That said, haven't tried the 997.2 yet. The Turbo in manual is on my list if I can find the right one.
