Welcome to the new job @cllr_jenkinson . I help organise bike busses to schools in #Edinburgh . If you would like to join us for one then please do get in touch. Today's bike busses helped to reduce vehicle numbers on the cities roads. Imagine if all schools had a bike bus!

@sainsburys We've been having a continual issue with the cleanliness of the baskets bringing our shopping fron your Craigleith store. I've been complaining for weeks without it getting better. How is this acceptable for food deliveries?

@sainsburys I have now done this. The key question for me is not simply that it has been 'fed back' ( as I've been doing this regularly with your drivers for a while now), but whether it is going to be taken seriously and what action is being taken to ensure the baskets are hygenic...

“Done properly no one would bother” - absolutely nonsense. This is relation to CCWEL. People started objecting to it in 2015 and it was delayed for years because of that.

We've had word that BT are attending to a collapsed manhole on Queensferry Road at Cammo - if anyone is able to confirm any details about lane restrictions etc that would be great. Don't tweet and drive, of course 😁 #edintravel

Council response to the concerns on traffic queuing on Roseburn St / Russell Rd in the post #CCWEL world 👆 TLDR: the junction is operating as intended, with reduced traffic volumes since pre Covid times, and some small increases in queue lengths...

Melville Crescent gets a second chance History - CCWEL was supposed to bring street trees and wider sandstone footways to Melville Crescent, and a return of the setted street carriageway (using the setts which currently lie hidden under the existing asphalt surface). It was, however, removed from the project in Autumn 2021 to cut costs. Good News - We have won £2.1m from Transport Scotland to complete the work. Why - Not only will the changes create a much more welcoming environment, but they will restore some of the historic features unique to the street’s World Heritage status. What’s more, the project will also benefit people travelling by foot, wheel or bike, complementing the fantastic, world-class CCWEL route. When - Work will start on April 22nd, and continue until December this year.
