Never forget. The ONLY reason we are suffering this fuel crisis is because of @AustralianLabor energy policy. We have abundant fossil fuels. Gas and oil is demonised. Industries shut down, agriculture threatened. Jobs lost. That’s the @AlboMP Bozo Bowen legacy. No amount of sun and wind will save us. Bowen can lie as much as he likes. This crisis & the cost of energy proves their lie & insanity over net zero.

Australia has a non-discriminatory immigration program. We do not discriminate based on nationality, race, gender, or faith. But for an immigration program to work in the national interest it must discriminate based on values. The Coalition is going to proudly put Australian values at the heart of immigration policy. That’s just one part of our broader agenda which will include bringing immigration numbers down to a sustainable level. The Coalition will make the Australian Values Statement a legally binding and enforceable visa condition for all temporary and permanent visa holders. If a visa holder undermines our democratic values, doesn’t respect the law, or demonstrates they don’t respect our core values, they will be booted out of Australia.

This is an opportunity to course-correct – to right wrongs. All Victorian Liberals should now get behind the magnificent @MoiraDeemingMP. Moira should have been pre-selected in the first instance. But with the successful candidate now having withdrawn after recent revelations – and questions to be answered about pre-selection screening processes – it's time to back Moira. Victorians deserve that women and girls – and indeed all Victorians – have strong, principled representatives in public life. Back her in now.

The average Australian mortgage is now $27,600 higher since @AlboMP took government and @JEChalmers poured debt petrol on the inflation fire. And @RBAInfo has made it clear it was last year’s inflation that has forced their hand.

Punters are finally waking up to inept, slippery @JEChalmers @AlboMP @AustralianLabor with today’s poll showing people now understand (& are blaming) this Govt for the high cost of living crisis, not the Iran war. Snake oil Chalmers has been telling lies & spinning bull to hide the fact that it is his spending that is largely to blame for the crisis we now face & today’s interest rate hike. His time has come to face the music.

@TheIPA Might I suggest someone come up with a positive VISION of the future! The best story always wins. Lay off the analysis. An inspiring story would be great! 🌷

“There’s really only one person who can stop Pauline Hanson now — and that’s Pauline Hanson.” Voter frustration with the major parties is driving support for the alternatives and One Nation is now drawing support from both the left and the right. 📺 Daniel Wild discusses how Australia’s political landscape may be entering a new era of minor party influence: bit.ly/4scOK45

GASLIGHTING ALERT: Jim Chalmers is back to the old Labor Party trick, trying to convince Australians that their disastrous economic management isn’t what’s driving up the pressure on households. Apparently it’s all just our imagination… and a war that only started a couple of weeks ago. The idea that a conflict barely weeks old could have such a major impact on an RBA decision is economic nonsense. Australians are being treated like mugs.

Interest rate rise. Michele Bullock says we maybe heading to the recession we have to have. Sounds like Paul Keating's time. Jim says the rate rise was partly caused by fuel prices. Bullock denied that fuel prices played a part in the RBAs decision. You need to own this one Jim

@AngusTaylorMP Why prioritise reliability and affordability over ideology? What’s the problem? Explain that and you’d be on to something. Why can’t ideology be connected to reliability and affordability? Connect abstract to concrete, please. 🌹

Australians need energy policies that prioritise reliability and affordability over ideology. A balanced energy mix means a better deal for Australians 🇦🇺 Great to sit down with Peta Credlin #auspol

@sussanley I like “easing the squeeze” - cute rhetoric - but really, what IS your team actually, concretely, in reality actually going to do? 🌸

Awkward. Jim Chalmers' spin is coming undone. The Reserve Bank confirmed what we've been saying for months - Labor's reckless spending is driving up inflation. When Labor spends, prices rise and Australians pay. Jim Chalmers is focused on saving face. My team is focused on easing the squeeze, repairing the budget and keeping Australians safe.

I never thought I’d see the day where One Nation - a political party that punches down, that stokes division, that mocks the religious beliefs of other Australians, that actively wants to unravel multicultural Australia - would be talking about being part of a government.  Liberals and Nationals - get it together.

The new ‘hate laws’ are so broad that banning of groups based on their political views is almost an inevitability. There are no effective safeguards in place. 📺 Daniel Wild and Morgan Begg take you through everything you need to know about these laws that can silence mainstream Australians: bit.ly/4tidOaS
