Dropping that series in 6 after leading 2-1 is a tough pill to swallow. With that being said, it seems like this is just the beginning for the Utah Mammoth. - Plenty of cap space to work with - A young and highly promising core - A fan base that has discovered what playoff hockey can look like in Utah They’ll be back. Tusks up now and forever.

Elon Musk just described the white-collar extinction event. On Joe Rogan. Casually. Musk: “Anything that is digital, which is like just someone at a computer doing something, AI is going to take over those jobs like lightning.” Not gradually. Not eventually. Lightning. The assumption most professionals are operating on is that AI will assist them. Make them faster. Augment what they do. That assumption is the most expensive mistake a person can make right now. Musk: “Just like digital computers took over the job of people doing manual calculations. But much faster.” Think about that analogy for a moment. We used to employ entire rooms of people whose sole function was arithmetic. Highly educated. Well-compensated. Essential to every organization that ran on numbers. Then the computer arrived and the entire category disappeared. Not shrank. Disappeared. Nobody talks about it as a tragedy anymore because the transition happened before most people alive today were born. It’s just history. A curiosity. That same transition is happening right now to coding, writing, analysis, research, legal work, financial modeling. Every profession whose output lives entirely on a screen. The difference is the speed. Digital computers took decades to displace manual calculation. This is moving in years. If your work begins and ends on a screen, you are not competing with a tool that makes someone else more productive. You are competing with a replacement that does not sleep, does not need benefits, and gets cheaper every six months. Musk is not predicting this future. He is describing the present tense.

🚨 Elon said all jobs will be optional. Everyone's calling him crazy. This is the same guy who said he'd make electric cars mainstream. They laughed. He did it. Said he'd land rockets back on earth. They laughed. He did it. Said he'd put internet in space. They laughed. 7,000 satellites later, soldiers in Ukraine depend on it. Said Twitter was overstaffed. Fired 80%. The app still works. Now Karpathy just scored every job in America against AI. If your work touches a screen, you're already replaceable. Every time this man says something insane, the world catches up 3 years later. You're not mad because he's wrong.. nah you're mad because you know he's not.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

@_kaitodev @garrytan @karpathy All jobs will be optional. There will be universal high income.

This sucks, period. Feel free to have whatever attitude towards Whitt that you want, I’ll keep mine. But here’s something to think about. In this CFB environment, things like this will happen. -Utah brought in a new OC. That OC immediately brings in 2 WRS that he is very comfortable with & vice versa that can implement his game plan on day 1. One of those WRs is an all conference player that did amazing things last season at UT St. -New OCs offense focuses on 1 key WR that will get the majority of the looks. Neither of these things benefit an incoming freshman who doesn’t know this OC from Adam. He built a relationship with Beck. He trusts Beck has HIS best interest. He made the best decision he could for HIS career. So hate Whitt all you want, but don’t be naive that a player & their family made the best decision for his future with the information & opportunity presented. I’m not expecting yall to be okay with this, but maybe it sparks some critical thinking that these things are far more complex than “Whitt burned everything just because”. Let’s be smart fans. It’s still #InScalleyWeTrust 🙌🏽

Morgan Scalley

All of us!!!!!! #GoUtes
The Chosen U@TheChosenUte

I've been thinking a lot about Morgan Scalley's introductory press conference. To paraphrase, he specifically said, "I believe we can win a national championship here at the University of Utah, and it's gonna take all of us… and then some." The words ruminating most in my mind from that press conference (aside from being great fathers) are "it's gonna take all of us… and then some." Those words made us feel part of the team-quite literally as if we fans suit up with them each game and take the field. That made me think about Utah fandom and how we can pull our weight for these players, coaches, and everyone else involved. I don't know all the answers, but I thought about programs that have won national titles before us (besides BYU, because that didn't count) and how they got there. Thanks to the internet, and to summarize the obvious, research shows the blue-blood fanbases are massive. So to me, a key ingredient as fans is to become even more massive than we currently are. How exactly do we do that? There have been things happening recently that are not great for the fanbase. While it's okay to have differences in how we see things, one thing we all need to do is remain unified as Utes. Our energy bleeds into the locker room, and that blood must be a unified, loving family. We cannot be a dysfunctional family and bleed the right energy into that locker room. In order to grow into a massive, blue-blood-type fanbase and program, it doesn't end at just loving each other. It also means supporting each other. Like Morgan said, it's about serving others. Here on X, we can show support through engagement: like each other's stuff, retweet it, share it, come join spaces and make your voice heard. Be part of this family. Each fan has a voice and energy to offer the Utah Utes that pushes Wayshawn Parker that extra inch to extend a drive or fuels Lander Barton's intuition for a game-sealing interception in a miracle comeback. So love each other, support each other, and remember- even when it's hard to like someone or their stuff- that this is for Morgan, for Bud, and for Grandpa Ford. This is how "it's gonna take all of us… and then some" gets us to the higher heights Morgan is talking about and taking us to. Be there for the accounts that have few followers as much as the ones with large followings. The more we like, share, and get Ute voices into the atmosphere, the bigger, louder, and more inevitable we become to the Alabamas, Michigans, and Ohio States. Liking, sharing, and engaging in Ute fandom is not about any individual or their agenda, even though some will stand to benefit at different levels. It's about Utah athletics. It's about becoming inevitable. It's about becoming champions. Family on 3… Go Utes!!! #GoUtes P.s.- I love you P.s.s- it's ok to root for Oregon, Indiana, Michigan etc and be kind to those fanbases. Believe it or not, they can share, like, etc our stuff too which only helps build the word Ute. *AI was not used in the creation of this post. This is all from the ❤️ .

Everyone upset saying Whitt raided Utah staff. He hired all of those guys and it’s business. I think this is a positive Morgan gets to hire his people and run the program how he wants. It’s important a coach has his guys who are loyal to him and share his vision
