The problem with the “taking time to reflect” line is that he’s had 9 years to “reflect” on the last time he physically assaulted a musician and it clearly hasn’t worked. And in that time, btw, everyone employed him, including the Proms.

I gave up on the idea of commuting to liverpool or manchester years ago, which is totally ridiculous as this is where a lot of the jobs are. But, yeah, it’s just a terribly run system. It’s shameful!

I’m absolutely done with the trains in the Uk. I have always been an advocate of using public transport where possible but in the last 3 years I’ve had so many trips delayed cancelled or ruined by train strikes or unexpected cancellations….

4 hours to get from Liverpool to Wigan due to cancellations is ridiculous! I’m just going to drive in future! It’s the only way you guarantee I can get to to from somewhere on any sort of reliable schedule.

If the UK had been serious about cutting down on people driving and emissions then they would have prioritised helping get our railways working. It seems the opposite has happened and it’s all gone to absolute hell.
