We are horrified by yet another incident of violent Islamophobia that occurred last Friday in St. Albert, Alberta. A Muslim man and his wife were driving back home from the Muslim Association of St. Albert when he was allegedly brutally assaulted. The man was allegedly slammed to the ground, and was accosted with racial obscenities, the attacker called him a "f***king immigrant," insulted Islam, used the n-word and threatened to kill him. He suffered a laceration to his right eye and pavement burns.  Violent Islamophobia has continued to be on the rise, and so has the rise of hatred directed towards immigrants across the province of Alberta.  We cannot stand by and have instances like this occur on a regular basis, all levels of government must condemn this incident and commit to taking action, as well as changing the current racist discourse around immigration.  We will be in contact with the victim and local authorities.

Honestly, who acts like this? Children this little need to be encouraged in their pursuits, not told that they lack the height or skills to pursue them. Of course, it's foolish to expect better from Trump at this point. The man is an alleged pedophile after all. This may seem like a small incident, but it's emblematic of a larger lack of empathy. Trump doesn't know how to behave like a decent human being in any setting, and it seeps into everything he does. Don't you miss having a normal human being in the White House? Dental plan, disability benefit increase, $10 a day childcare, pharmacare, more tax benefits, more taxes back, easier and free tax filings, 10 cents less on gas today, no industrial carbon tax, national food program, food rebates, etc. Those are just a few things Canadians got under a liberal government.

I have a Liberal PM and a Conservative Premier. Today, the Liberal lowered my tax hit. The Conservative has not. The Conservative in Alberta said she won't. Why are you only lobbying one level of government? Where is your complaints for the Premiers?

Maybe conservatives should be questioning why conservative MPs would choose to cross the floor instead of screaming and blaming mark carney. You don't leave a party that represents your values and beliefs just because someone bribes you. You leave because it doesn't represent who you are any more and the leader is a terrible one. Poilievre has been rumored to treat all the MPs unfairly and demand they constantly prove their worth. Sounds like a miserable person to deal with.
