@AOgieglo Hopefully they are talking about this with data collection, but we absolutely should adopt similar legislation to the US… in shifting towards full EHR capabilities, but being a public system we should attempt data standardization from the get go. This is so key.

Overestimation in early growth patterns is -beside travel restrictions- the second thing on a rinse and repeat cycle - yes, presumably XBB.1.5 will eventually take over from the other omicron sub-variants, but not within a few days, and will not result in a January like last year

This morning, @CBCStephenQuinn tried to get BC's Provincial Health Officer to recommend masks without equivocation. Dr. Henry would not. It's not hyperbole to say that more infections will occur over the next weeks and months because of her inability to recommend masking.

@HIVDocSK @drtimothyli O yea agreed with @jessecouk. Have used high dose (adjustment PRN) Levo tons in the past. Although I am not the biggest fan of FQ in general. Not sure if others share my opinion. But do use FQ in general when needed due to PO.

Sometimes I feel like the only explanation Twitter has for anything that happens on this globe (and beyond?) are: either, it must be COVID-infection related, or it must be COVID-vaccine related.

For decades, Dr. Anthony Fauci has led with science to fight infectious disease. His leadership during the pandemic saved countless lives, & his commitment to evidence-based science is a key reason why public policies have been able to protect public health. ASM stands w/ Fauci.
